2 episodes is a good indicator of the quality of the show. The gang’s personalities are the least of the issues if we are real, the problem is every character is in on the snark and body shaming. The show also relies too much on cliche meta criticism followed by fulfilling meta comments humor along with “it was cool before it was considered socially unacceptable behavior” tropes. It’s not just the gang with bad brains. Also a kid lost both his feet in a hallway incident of the show. For no known reason.

LOL. The show is objectively bad. Don't let the optics fool you. People don't hate that Velma is brown or Shaggy is black. It's the fact that it's literally trying to Trojan Horse its way into an IP, and then they double down and claim racism and whatnot when people criticize it. It's shitty. It's cringe-filled garbage. You could have kept all of the characters white, and the show would still stink. You know it's awful when the people who should praise it don't even like it.

They only share names with the actual OG Scooby-Doo character. If you just changed the character design slightly and just use other character names, you wouldn't even make the connection with the original cast, not even have points to compare one with their counterparts. Such a shame that show got to be produced, ruining the Scooby-Doo franchise and seriously impacting any future possibilities of better Scooby Doo shows or movies being produced.

Fed is Elon musk clone but more murderous, Velma is lesbian when she was orginally bi, the other girl was strate( do not care that they made her Asian), the saggy clone is whimper( do not care that this version is black American or whatever) and no shobby do or they kill him. this should of been it own show. they show the dark side before give what is positive about the characters making people wish the show to be in the trash. so I will past on this one.

Okay, I agree that people aren't always good and kind in the real world, plus having a series be more reflective of the real world can be a good gimmick in media, (it only depends on how the producers and the company itself uses that element), but seriously who's he trying to fool? This show is b******* all the way and down right shameful. The second I saw both it's teaser trailer and the official trailer, I saw it's woke crazed, idiotic ignorance coming 4 or 5 miles away, a mile at the least. Everyone knows that the audience is way more important than the damn critics. What's worse is that Warner bros is just gonna blame it on anyone who absolutely hates it and ignore how horrendously awful this was. It was the same with the Harley Quinn cartoon show/adult animated series as going to be the same with HBO's Velma.

For me it's a disrespect of continuity and an established universe. It's going against what is Canon. And longtime fans of the Scooby-Doo series hates this largely for that reason alone.

Nah im judging it solely off the first two episodes, the redesigns were completely unnecessary, the way the characters act is nowhere near how they have been portrayed previously, and Velma is just a self insert character

Nah, one thing is to give your characters some flaws to make them more relatable and other is just to poorly write them like in this is case. For example, Bojack Horseman, Rick and Morty and Inside Job are examples of characters with flaws that are relatable with the audience and have a smart adult humor.
