because it simply wasnt. why do you guys hype a drive that doesnt even beat his own in 2016. 2 guys didnt make the grid, passed a total of 3 cars after turn 1, did absolutely nothing from lap five until the red flag, alpine were pulling 3 seconds a lap on him, gets gifted 2 spots due to red flag and then uses a superior car to lead into t1. its a good drive. calling it "best drive" is uninformed at best.

Unlike other drivers, max was able to drive consistently. He might not have had the best car, but he manages to be consistent which is why he was able to still win with some degree of ease

This is the exact point Max made, "British bias", how can anyone pick Hamilton-Silverstone over Max-Brazil as the season's best moment? Brazil was the the best drive by any driver in a few years IMO, easily the standout moment from this year. Hamilton won that race cos McLaren put the wrong tyres on late in the race. Again this is just IMO, but i would be very surprised if anyone aside from a "Brit" picked Hamilton-Silverstone.?????

And you made a good point about the impact of triple header especially the Vegas Qatar race within a week, and how the race starts too late as well. Something must be done about that because the drivers and the team won’t be able to perform at their best due to jet lag.

Also 22 and 23 were nowhere near as dominant as Mercedes were. 2022 Ferrari got half the poles. 23 RBR still lost 8 poles. 2014,15,16 Merc lost only 3 poles in those 3 years ! (1 each year)

21 he had the fastest car for a lot of races, but still was really impressive it’s a shame he won in an unfair way. Lewis should have won his 8th there but Max deserved that win just as much, if not more. 24 though I do think Max had the fastest car at more races than any other team, because when McLaren 100% had the fastest car most often after silverstone but Mercedes and Ferrari could have a faster car depending on conditions (like we saw at Vegas, Mexico, COTA)

@sleepyumi on pace Mercedes was the fastest in 2021. Honestly, Max much deserved the title. He was the much better driver. If Lewis has pitted for new tires, maybe Max does not win, but Mercedes messed up, so stop talking about it. Lewis was gifted his in 2008, so you win some you lose some. As for 2024. Max had the fastest car for 5 races this season on pace alone. That's it.

@ 2008 is a very different championship. This year Max had the fastest car at a lot more than 5 races, probably closer to 10 or maybe 11, going by the numbers. The RB20 had issues across the season yeah, but so did everyone else across the grid, McLaren had the widest operating window after Miami, but they didn’t get the correct setups until zandvort. So yeah McLaren could have won more races and had the car to do it, but on the day they set up the car wrong and let Redbull stay the fastest car (until red bulls issues really kicked in about halfway through the season).

first one was won by reliability and the 2nd was disrupted by the FIA deciding to give Schumacher one last title fight and was only won, once again by reliability striking at Japan. Alonso deserved 06, Raikkonen deserved 05

Everything is so close, the more teams and drivers can win, the more i believe Max and Hamilton will fight for the title. All drivers in top 8 can win. However in a tittle fight over a season, i think Hamilton and Max wil bring something special to the table.
