I liked it the first time, but after several rewatchs I can say with a full chest everyone deserved it except the bear dude. Bro didn't even wanna know her anymore and got burned alive for it... If we reversed 90% of the movie than it would've been HATED

I also really like the movie, but I can also see why people don’t like it. Partly because a lot of people who like it can be pretty pretentious about it and dismiss everyone who doesn’t like the movie as being too stupid to understand it 😅

Yesss! Movies lovers and reviewers are so often so pretentious the alienate audiences. I really try not to be that way. I've mentioned on the channel before how much i used to hate on popular things in an effort to come across smarter than everyone. This is a trait im thankful i outgrew but plenty in the community have not.

Damn I can't beleive this video only has a couple of likes, I absoluetly love this move (even if some sceens where too much for me, its still a great movie). The only point I want to add is about what you said about her boyfriend, because while he fully did intent to cheat on her, he did not consent to ANY of what ended up happening to him. I know you didn't say he did but I just feel like atleast in the instances I saw of people saying Christain (I think thats his name) didn't cheat they meant in more in a "he clearly never consented to any of THAT" way and less of a "intent to cheat isn't cheating" way. I might have just misinterpreted what you said tho.

Thank you! I totally agree that christian did not consent, and this adds some difficulty holding him to account for his actions. This adds to the ambiguous nature of both the feelings of dani and the actions of the cult. I really appreciate the comment!
