nice video as always! Tatoh played the start of the drush-flush strategy really well, but 2 decisiones costed him the game: 1) TO MAKE ARCHERS. Since he had a weak economy civ, the goal in this position is to use 1 gold unit, or just trash unit, or a mix of both, but not 2 gold units. Since goths have cheap infantary, and they are made faster as well, skirms from 1 range + a blacksmith would be the correct play here to counter your archers. Besides that, feudal archers are made in 35s, and skirms in just 22s, it's a big difference. He could handle 2 ranges archers using 1 range skirms, specially with M@a nearby. 2) TO GO CASTLE. Vikings have free whellbarrow and handcart as well, so they economy will always be miles ahead, so he should have prolongated the feudal war using M@a, skirms and towers. This also would have prevented his wood-line vills from dying to crossbowmen.

This patch is full of bugs. The ones I've found: 1. If you send a military unit to a certain place to attack an enemy military unit... if that enemy military unit dies before you get there... the military unit you sent will stop moving and not go to the geographical area the enemy military unit was standing at. This makes it very difficult to get military units to a battle since you send them to battle by clicking them to attack an enemy at a battle. If you're already in battle with other military units... if your military units kill the military unit you sent the other battalion to attack... then they won't get to battle and stay standing like idiots in the middle of the field. 2. When sending military units to certain geographical points, they will sometimes stay in the running position as if they're on their way but they are actually not moving and stay in one place until you give them the instruction again. 3. Villagers get confused while at the mill over where to drop or pickup food from and to. They will dance for ages without doing any real work. 4. Military units don't act properly when attacking. During a Dark Age Drush your military units will push each other when sent in group to attack a villager and will only be pushing each other while following the enemy villager instead of attacking the villager one by one. 5. I won't even get started with the Failed Connection while searching for games at Ranked. Too many of those these days. At almost every moment of the process of the Ranked Menu. 6. Lag spikes every 30seconds during game play. 7. When my game lags... nothing moves and then all of a sudden vils and everything move really fast to catch up but you can't do anything while that's happening.

@Emperor AlHasan No, bro. I´ve been playing AoE since 2010. Military Units always go to the geographical location of the units you send them to attack and get there even if said unit dies in the process. Example: You have 20 Cav Archers in your home base and 20 Cav Archers at the Enemy´s base in a fight. You send your 20 Cav archers to help the ones at the enemy´s base and send them to attack an enemy archer. If the enemy archer dies from your 20 cav archer fiire while the 20 Cav archers are galloping to help... the 20 cav archers galloping for help should still go to that location. This patch has it so that if the enemy archer dies while de 20 cav archers are galloping to help... they stop galloping in the middle of the gallop and just stand there like idiots in the middle of the map. It´s the most stupid thing in the world. Why would you want them to stop in the middle of the map just because that enemy archer died? You want them over there! Were you sent them to go. In my opinion there should be a line of code that adds not just the instruction of going to attack that enemy archer but also the location where that enemy archer was and to just go there.

During the Vinchester game Hera was commenting on how bad Goths are on Arena and I was thinking "are they really that bad?" And then when the time came for him to play against Goths, he absolutely destroyed. Nice to see theory proven by practice 11

So what if goth reads the berserk switch and goes swordsman line? Or is it because goth falls behind early? If they don’t invest in 6 militia early, doesn’t the villager+50 gold from no loom still put them in a decent spot? Perhaps elite skirm and swordsman line kind of shuts down what u need to do. Huskarls to raid. Or is the mobility of the berserks what does them in

Berserk just destroy any melee unit from the goths, even champions, also they have 1 base pierce armor so skirms do 1 damage against them, you've gotta take into account that a berserk is an improved version of the champion, with slighty more health, damage and melee armor, and also can regenerate life.

I think the only way would be to make scorpions or hand cannoneers, you can see Tatoh had Huskarl+Scorpions at 20:04 but I think he didn't see it and everything separated horribly.

@@DuckieMcduck Vikings can counter hand cannoneers by adding arbalests or skirmishers and still could use onager against scorpions, so yeah scorpions was probably a better choice but still is a very bad match up.

hard counter how? they both have same stats, Berserk even has 1 more HP and more speed so longswords can't even force engage

People in the chat: halb + handcannon wins vs abrs / berserk. You know that halb handcanon gets rekked by arbs alone (like very hard rekked). Just keep some berserks behind if the goths start to make huskarls.
