My great grandmother’s death certificate listed a cemetery as her burial place but could not find her I there. I called the county and talked to several people but none called me back regarding finding the headstone. I then contacted the local genealogist who was willing to help me. She decided to go to where her parents were buried. Although there were no marker for my great grandmother, the genealogist, who is also a dowser, said she is buried near her parents. How do I confirm burial there?

Can someone tell me WHY people visit a grave though? Not what to do before, during, or after, but why? Is this for if you can't find any online sources of the individual? Or is this step of visiting a grave more of a fun activity to do to add another source? Like, what is the value?

Hi Christa, I'm attempting to contact Catholic Cemeteries where my relatives are buried. I've heard from two who say that they can't give out information except where they are buried. I have that info from Findagrave but would like to know further info. Is it legal to withhold information even from relatives? I've offered to pay too. Thanks for any insight.

3/20/2023 How do I go about putting on find a grave a person that doesn’t have a tome stone in the cemetery. and is not on find a grave in that cemetery. What steps do I need to do?
