as a iron leg warlord user, i might just say this, obviously it WILL be guaranteed to get a nerf for it's AOE, though i hope it won't end up almost like thermo fist's fate.

How did you use sparrow thrust? I though you need 170 weapon stat for that and that much point in weapon will make you a warrior?

Weapons have two important stats besides their speed, strength and size. 1) Quality This determines how many moves you can have on your weapon. Poor-2 Average-3 Good-5 (although, effectively speaking, you can only use 4 of them, even as a warrior as far as I am aware) 2) Level This not only determines the minimum player level you need to be at to equip the weapon, but it greatly impacts the stat requirement for each move. The skill formula goes like this: 1st skill: wpnlvl*2+skllreq-30 2nd skill: wpnlvl*2+skllreq-30 3rd skill: wpnlvl*2+skllreq-20 4th skill: wpnlvl*2+skllreq-20 5th skill: wpnlvl*2+skllreq+100 Therefore, it can be easily inferred that weapons with a higher quality than their level's usual quality are *amazing* for hybrid skills. The only weapons with this unique property are the elius weapons, sameria, keraxe, and ravenna swords, and the assasin/admiral weapons. Warlord has particularly benefitted from this skill note system because its stat points can be used for slotting as if it was a warrior (with the slight distinction that it requires the weapon and strength stats to be in balance, however this is unimportant as you need to have a minimum of 120 in either stat as a max level warlord, and with smart skill slotting no move will require more than that) in the case of colossal weapons, not to mention the fact that they get special privileges when it comes to what skills they can equip. Long story told short, he most likely used a spear/staff (both can use sparrow thrust, the difference between them being that spear can equip staff moves and its own) that was level 50, and on the first or second weapon slot. 50*2+90-30=160 which is the maximum weapon stat you can have with a max level of 140, and is therefore possible. Please note that you can and *should* abuse the fact that rusted/old weapons have the lowest possible requirement for skills if you are a savant or for some god forsaken reason a minimum weapon stat investing hybrid build.
