Great singer who left her mark forever in the Hindi music industry. In those days, when me and my friends used to go to the clubs in Dubai (where Filipino bands used to sing English songs), we would get on to the dance floor only when the Filipino band sings 'Made in India' song. Until then, we would stay away from the dance floor. This habit of ours got noticed in many of the clubs we visited (all with Filipino bands), such that the bands would play the Made In India song within minutes of our entry and we would get on to the dance floor. Some of the bands used to play the song 2 or 3 times during the night we were in the club. We used to feel very proud about the fact that foreign bands and singers, who didn't know Hindi much, used to sing this song so well. Hats off to Alisha ji, our ever Baby Doll.
