Pollard was alright, he could have been better for sure. But the Run Blocking was nonexistent too often. No holes, no run game. My bad, Happy Birthday Foots!!! Keep doing it like you do brother!!

Happy birthday Foots! I'm so glad you did this! Question: Watching this film why is it that the media and talking heads say we do such a great job with the O-Line players. I'm watching this and I don't see it. I also think that this O-Line has been overrated for a few years. They should have let Tyrone Smith retire or move on a few years ago. I bet if you go back after Zeke's third or fourth year and do a deep dive, you'll see a lot of what people say was Zeke's early decline was really more on the O-Line not playing well. I know once we lost our Center due to injury then retirement that was sort of the beginning of the downturn and it was never properly addressed. That's just my two cents. I'll let you and the other experts tell us what's up.

It's all based on names and past accomplishments. Truth be told, a lot of the media and talking heads have no idea how to grade an offensive lineman.

1 way to improve the running game go back to man blocking instead of zone blocking. Zack Martin & Tyler Smith is better at using their power with man to man blocking .That's the problem with trash coaches like McCarthy that don't know how to adjust to the personnel that he has

I can wait to go against Tyler B 2 times a year 😂. He has no power

Mike Solari offensive line coach and blocking schemes was trash as well
@LeonBeard3 ай бұрын
The run game sucked against teams with good linebacker play, even though this run scheme was better than K Moore's run scheme. Why? 1. The blocking was inconsistent at best. When the center gets blown up, the whole play is dead. 2. TP is not an RB1. Too many times we saw him lack vision and cut right into a linebacker. 3. Rico Dowdle was the best option at RB, and didn't get enough touches. 4. And the play callers would eventually say to hell with the run plays lol.

The Cowboys O-line is nit ranked in the top 10 for 2024. 1. Detroit 2.SF 3.FRUITY DELPHIA 4.C Browns 5.B. ravens 6. Colts 7. Falcons 8. Bills 9.Rams 10. Bengals

Happy Born Day Foots enjoy your day tadaay 🎉🎂 also talking about Tyler B. When we let him go I wasn't even that hurt after seeing this film I see why lol. & On that one as a Offensive Football player far as Pollard he should know better to always follow the backside of you blocker & go off what he's showing you. T. Steele need to get it together this year or he's next on the dismissal Block.

Happy Birthday, Foots! Yo, in that Seattle game-Ferg did not “do his job!” He tried to cut that LB, who just went over the top of him and joined in the tackle! Serious: if Schoonmaker cannot block this year, then why would he make the squad? So ready to see if Spann Ford can just pile drive linebackers into the cheap seats! An actual running game unleashes the offense in ways that are frightening.

Good Teams admitted they knew if they stop the run, the duk isn't going to beat them. That along with Tyron being poor in run blocking, Zach is in his last years and on the downside of his career, Steele coming back from injury and average, rico is a jag, the running game is very predictable & slow to develop. Not enough misdirection. Tyler B. was like the rest, a better pass blocker than run. Tyler Smith is the only one to build around.
