Jonathan Haslam retired as George F. Kennan Professor at the Princeton University Institute for Advanced Study last July. He is a Life Fellow of Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, Professor Emeritus of Cambridge University and a Fellow of the British Academy. His latest book is The Spectre of War. International Communism and the Origins of World War II (Princeton, 2021).

yes, Spain and the civil war there a prime example. He does say his views have evolved as archival documentation was becoming available. This is real history... "revisioninst" by nature
