I was gonna say congrats on the You Tube award, but I will just say "Youre Welcome". BTW You should never expect anyone to ship a 12 lb. $200 chunk of metal around the world for free. The tagline for your filament should be: "We will always make refunds available. We already knew it was Tangled".. As a joke, I once returned a CD, They asked why, I said its "Stained, It even says so on the front of it

Awesome video as always! Also, I love how the video editing is scaling up too 😁. Now to the important questions:- 1-) Can you guys test Bambu Lab’s Black Matte PLA? 2-) Are you guys going to add Ref to tangled one day 🙏??? 3-) Can you guys talk about 3D print force??? It’s a website that takes into consideration everything about a product (e.g etsy’s sales fee, electricity rates, packaging, etc) and based on the price of your product it tells you how much you can make!

I love the focus on sustainability! Not to mention I prioritize quality on my filament. Not premium, but quality. My first filament was so bad. No layer adhesion, slow speeds only, terrible overhangs and supports didn't come loose - weird with the layer adhesion part. Splintered too. Even looked like poop of various shiny shades. I also like the moral business practice.

Ha ha ha, I was wondering if he was going to comment on the play button design. It's Slant 3D after all... And yeah, he could not resist... Loved it ! _"I'm going to critic build quality. [...] You would assume " Ha, that's a block of machined aluminum" bc 100K is a big deal, and YT and Google have a lot of money... this is a stamped hollow aluminum shell"_ 😂

32:46 - so very true. I've got a bunch of brands of filament based on various needs, I've got a couple of brands on my radar to try out or for special projects. At least in the near future, I don't see anybody monopolizing filament, because everybody is different. For something that is basically raw material, there's a surprising variety of it.

I'm surprised precast concrete is not used more for housing. It's used for warehousing l, it's fast and consistent. 3d precast would interesting.
@jakobhansen1396
@jakobhansen1396 Ай бұрын
The infrastructure for precast concrete is dependent on relative low distances, since it's horrible expensive to move walls, they're bulky, fragile and heavy. I have calculated precast walls and transport often requires extra rebars Besides requiring 10 guy crews for all disciplines it's difficult to plan

Lets goo! Great job guys!! I'm also trying to start a 3d printing startup and were working on a robot that auto clears the beds and puts all the prints on a conveyer belt! But were struggling to come up with product ideas. We did the manufacturing setup first before finding a product lol. But that gives us the option to do on demand products! And ideas / advice you have for finding the right product to sell?

@@tfmg8223 Just my .02 cents, Get a base of products that are in demand, Things customers want, and use any extra capacity to run experimental items ( seasonal, specialty stuff) and see what moves. Go with the demand and keep trying other niches when you have extra capacity.

Is slant3d going to offer resin printing? Or SLS nylon? What about multicolor resin printing? (Yes it's a thing). My interest in 3d printing is around the artistic space but slant3d seemed geared more towards the industrial or functional space. A lot of people HATE doing resin printing because of the chemicals and process, etc.

I am looking forward to those other colors, when it makes sense, since I use less black. Older eyes see lighter colors better!. But agree with doing it right, not stupidly. I'd rather buy it made in USA year after year, than a smidge cheaper from a different foreign country and vendor every time, not knowing what the heck I'll get. And the carbon footprint to get it to me is then a LOT less, as well as a consistent, good quality filament to make stuff to use around the house.

Assuming i can get a print farm going like im hoping chances are 1kg spools are/will go to special orders and at small scale businesses with an extra fee (not much but something to help avoid the issues provided along with the order in time since it wont be in stock usually) and have 3kg as a bare minimum size preferably 10kg as far as i can tell with colors go with a basic 5 color with a raw material color option to reduce the cost more for painting parts and the strength benefits but the raw will need alot of research for viability

Honestly, look into pellet extruders. One guy I’ve seen on KZbin made one at home and is now selling it as a replacement for filament extruders. I know really big large scale companies use them, they are cheaper when it comes to price per kg.
