Congratulations on your relocation. ❤❤❤. I've been to the Volte region and it's stunning. I loved it there. I went on an excursion whilst I was in Ghana. There's so much to do there. My favourite hotel/restaurant event place overlooks the Adomi bridge. The Bridgeview hotel you should check it out. Nice place for drinks and food in Akosombo. So much water/ outdoor activities for the kids/adults too on lake Volta. Trekking etc. And you're definitely right about the air quality. Can't wait for your videos about Ho. Rooting for you.

Yeah I understand. Our idea of “Off grid” doesn’t mean living 40 minutes off the road. We still need basic infrastructure like road access.
@bktoafrica2 ай бұрын
Yes, the road access is a must. Especially for our transition period. We need time to master off grid living and self treating injuries etc. before even thinking about living that far from these services. We bought the land in faith, without seeing the access road. Our first mistake. We were grateful just to be landowners and have somewhere to call our own. So we decided to try and make the best pf our situation. If buying from abroad. We advise everybody to obtain footage of the access road. Or video footage showing the journey from the main road to your land.

Why is everyone upset or concerned that they are leaving the place they thought was the one for them. They are fairly new to Ghana and they are exploring their best options on what is best for them. If a family from Ghana moves to the UK and later on find out maybe the place and environment they are might not be best for them to raise a family and they move to better environment for their family, everyone is ok with that; but how come when a black family from the UK come to settle in Ghana and family the family decides the environment they chose might not be suitable for their family, why do most Ghanaians get concerned or upset with the family as if they are going to leave Ghana and go back to the UK.

Peace and Greetings, Family! My husband and I have been living in Kenya for 1 year now, previously lived in Gambia for 1 year, and currently researching to explore Ghana. A few questions: 1) We are still learning the areas.. What is the particular town of the Eastern Region? 2) Is the Tap water in the Volta Region drinkable? 3) Sis, I see that you’re wearing a jacket lol.. What is the temperature there in Volta? We look forward to connecting with you soon. 🙏🏾🖤

Peace and greetings family❤️ 1. The particular town was ayeh-kokoso (I hope I've spelt that right), we can’t speak for all other area’s. 2. I would have to ask around actually, however we personally do not drink it and just stick to bottled water. 3. Haha😅 the temperature is very hot, in the 30s most days. You may find a little more breeze on the mountain. But even in raining season it’s still hot. I was wearing a jacket to cover up my growing baby bump👶🏽😉 Hope this helps🙏🏾🩷also hope to connect with you all one day!

Some of them folks are secretly wanting African diasporans to develop the areas their government failed to develop and they themselves wouldn't live in.

AN ADVICE TO YOU. When moving to Africa, try ask much possible to build a house in the city, A get a little business going. THERE ARE SO MUCH YOU CAN DO TO MAKE MONEY. Even if you are looking into going into farming, Stay in the city FIRST. Living in the City for at least 1 year, will open your eyes to so much that you can do. And you can then decide what local (village) place you can move to AFTER 1 year. Africa is nice and accommodating but you cant depend on what you read online to decide. CITIES HOLD INFO ABOUT EVERY PART and what business is worth venturing into

These are all reason that would have been obvious to anyone from the beginning. Life doesn’t work the way you guys envisaged it and you have to be realistic and responsible at all times.

Hi there! Thanks for your opinion. There were definitely things that were clear from the start but not all, please also remember we only touched on a few reasons for leaving and there were plenty more. It was us being realistic and responsible that made us leave the situation☺️again thanks for your opinion
