Why we chose 17” rims for going off-road with Maxxis RAZR

While stopped at the top of Billy Goats Bluff it was a great opportunity to show how important tyre size and pressure is when you’re going off road.
On this trip we ran 22psi and the increased sidewall height of the 17” wheels over the original 19” wheels allows the Maxxis RAZR AT811 all terrain tyres to flex providing much better grip and able to absorb the bumps in the rocky terrain much better than tyres at road pressure of 40psi.
