Well, the server praises you for griefing bases you found yourself, not for griefing bases you were invited to... For certain griefers, it might even be a deterrent to just tell them where your base is. They might actually lose interest. Still, you'd probably take too big a gamble to ever try it in practice.

Fit seems like a true neutral, normally doesn't go around griefing people and usually griefs for moral or good reasons, but doesn't have anything against griefing a base just for revenge.

As of 2020, Beardler announced on r/2b2t that he has returned to 2b2t, and apologized to those that he had hurt. Beardler had regained some respect among players in 2b2t and continued projects for the Brotherhood. a group that he founded in November of 2020, originally called the Cult of Bro. He also documented history of smaller bases and groups in very long google document for the Brotherhood Knowledgebase, one of his projects for the group. The group went through two bases, one lasting until May of 2021, respectively named after the group itself. This is basically kicking a dead horse.
