We grow our food too in our backyard. I can what we grow. Had to learn how to do safe canning. Melons were hard for us too.. but we have harvested 8:32 9 so far....we even share with our neighbor.

I grow my own foods in my garden, too. I know that my food is fresh and I don't rely on the supermarkets for everything that I may need for my home and family. I sometimes share with my neighbors when I have extra. You never know what your neighbors are going through. I use my garden as a healing process when I am stressed or heavily thinking about things. My motto is that God is a master gardener, and it is clearly stated in the Bible in the first book and first chapter, Genesis.
