This is one of your top videos to date. I loved it! I saw you asking for ideas. They may not fit at this time, but here are a couple off the top of my head: -What to expect at your first competition. I think a barrier to competition aerobatics for those of us with no local aerobatic community is understanding what it takes to even compete for the first time. -How to fly within an aerobatic box. Having never done it, I wonder how hard it is since I typically practice far higher than a typical box and it is hard to judge boundaries (using farm fields for reference) -How to wheel pants on an Edge 540. I like my wheels modest and covered up : )

Hahaha I almost have the wheel pants done! Thank you for the ideas! This is perfect

This is a great production, soup to nuts. "Taking something that you like and pushing it to the limits." That's how I felt the first time I flew the Pitts after years of flying the Piet. Come to think of it, that STILL how I feel when I fly the Pitts.

Most childish thing ever. All of us acro heads are like little kids when we hop in these planes. Been watching your videos for so long and I love every single one of them. Seriously one of my biggest inspirations! Keep it up Alex, would love to meet up with you if i’m ever out on the West Coast🤙🏻

Aerobatics in the air is equivalent to drifting on the track. It might not be the fastest way around...but it sure is the funnest.

"Flying Aerobatics is childish"- Spoken like a guy that doesn't get the value of a challenge. Some people watch, judge, and type. Others dream, execute, and live. Keep doing what you're doing.

Replace "aerobatics" in that question with literally any sport or game. The answer is inevitably "yes." Imagine explaining golf or skateboarding to aliens.

It may be childish, so what? I fly aerobatics because I like it, because it makes me a better pilot and because I enjoy the challenge. What others think about it, well, it's their own opinion.

No, it’s not childish. It transforms you from a good pilot to a ‘great’ pilot.

It’s all about learning another aspect of flying. One of the many. I still want to learn all the back country STOL stuff and I’m always improving my instrument stuff.

Your flying in this video was definitely more aggressive and crisp thsn a few weeks ago. Try this. Pull to vertical. Left foot Neg flick unloaded with aft stick and left aileron and hold it till it transitions into a left flat spin. And film it for us
