Hey Talia, I switched from plastic hangers to velvet hangers like 2 years ago and I wouldn't go back. They are slim and I can fit more clothes in my closet. Not only that, but my clothes don't slip and fall now as they did when I used plastic hangers! All in all, I love them. Try it out and if you don't like it, return! :)

The velvet hangers are for slippery fabrics, like silk dresses, so your clothes will not fall off the hangers. I love them. Very useful and they really work!! Those hangers are all I have in my closets, I even bought kid size ones for my daughter, they are the best best because the clothes don’t fall off, they save lots of space, specially now that you have a smaller closet than you did before! I love your new place and I’m excited for you both! I love my velvet hangers because my clothes don’t slip off of them. My husband won’t use them and loves the plastic hangers because he likes to yank/pull his shirt off the hanger with ease. It works for us, I keep the velvet, he keeps the plastic.☺️❤️
