Thank you for sharing this! I resonate so much with this topic. I also moved to another country with mental illness and felt very lonely at the beginning. Although I was good at speaking and understanding English I didn't feel I could interpret my feelings like I can in my mother language. I was 32 when I moved and I agree it's not the same as finding friends when you go to high school or college. When you add the fact that I am an introvert, all I can say is that it was haaard! :D But it's something that made me even stronger as a person and I will forever be grateful for the experience. Thank you for having the courage to talk about these topics

Mateja! Thank you for sharing! It's so incredibly hard to express yourself when others can't understand you. I hope you have been able to find your tribe and the support that you needed. 💜

I'm so glad you knew exactly what you needed and were able to find it (when you had the resources). I wish everyone had access to this kind of self-awareness during stressful times. So glad you made it through such a rough spot and are enjoying life in Italy now :)

So hard sometimes to have that self-awareness when you're in so deep. But I recognized the signs. Thank you! It's taken me a couple of years to finally feel settled here. 🧡
