I love your idea of Part 9 being fixated on sports. A sports tournament its the type of apparently limited setting (same like the Green Dolphin Prison) that would give other mangaka a headache, but it would be perfect for Araki to play and experiment with the established tropes of this genre. It would be awesome to see stand battles being dictated by the rules of a certain game, and the purpose of using stands is the winning of said game, in a very HxH Succ War style + if we get a team sport, like Soccer (which I imagine would be the case), almost all the fights would be a colaboration beetween many stand users(up to 11) , the kind of dynamic we dont see in jojo.

noir detective story PLEASE Alongside moody blues, the murder mystery aspect of part 4 was always so much fun. I think Araki would be most capable with that sort of theme, and to go all in on it (with the investigation perhaps provoking many a person to attack the jojo in question) would make for a really exciting story imo. The great thing about a detective story is that, with Araki's creativity, it could be stretched out to be a very long part, yet equally could be short without it taking away from the climax either.

I don't think the idea where stands are common knowledge would be very good, this is because having government officials would make battles too easy as you could usually run for help or call the cops, whereas in, say, part 4 the best they could do was call Jotaro, but even he couldn't do everything. MHA does soemthing like this, and one solution they have is nomus, the super powerful beasts that basically function as bullet sponges. Personally, I don't like it, and don't think they make for interesting fights, but I'd love to hear a response or have a discussion with you on the topic :)

An important thing to note is that SBR takes elements to parts from 1 to 3, and that JJL takes elements to parts from 4 to 6. Furthermore, there are valid arguments saying that Gappy is the hidden equivalent to giorno, and that Kaato is the hidden equivalent for Jolyne. So, that would mean that there is no part9 in sight, or that it wont fit in the template araki has designed. Another mildly piece of information is that every jojo from the second trilogy is the direct child of a jojo from the first trilogy.

Me and some friends of mine came together to make our own idea for part 9: The story takes place in 2018 in the city of Chicago, Illinois. The main character is Joshua Joestar, an oblivious and easily tempered guy who seems to do what they want and get in trouble. They have the stand, Hearbreak Hotel, with an unique ability of breaking a persons heart after 100 precise punches to the opponents body. Joshua and his group of stand users just have random fun until the death of one of the group members, which changes the story to a mystery. Joshua and group must find the history of the Joestars and find out where the Holy Corpse is before the villain, Antonio Becker and his stand Iron Maiden get their hands on it. Antonio Becker is an underground mafia/gang leader who had of Chicago’s economic flow, making him have an endless supply of cash from the city. Antonio’s true motivation is to find the holy corpse of Jesus Christ, to fuel his power and gain control over Chicago. His stand, Iron Maiden, has the ability to warp through time, they can take and bring objects from any point in time and either dispose or use them to his advantage, but, depending on the object, he uses loads of energy. It is a race to find the holy corpse and a mystery of the underground mafia in Chicago. This is the story of Joshua Joestar in: Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Tailwind Heart

I would kill for a stand-based martial art focused part. idk the details of how it would fit into the AU but imagine we see a future jojo focused on combat working his or her way through underground fights to tournaments that are structured in a sense, instead of the anything goes fights that only occur when an enemy tries to stop the jobros progess towards the main villain. Even better, what if instead of a main villain, we have a semi organized group of villains trying to achieve something through the martial arts bouts. I know this would take the focus of the wacky world previous parts were set in but I feel like Araki could produce something amazing, and with the variety and possibilities stand battles can produce, something as classic as a martial arts tournament could be flipped on its head. Also, maybe the fights wouldn't be only stand battles. Imagine people having stand abilities that allow the user to fight on their own (Like Hamon or Gyro's spin) without a floating stand doing the work.

My favourite fight from part 3 was the Daniel D’arby fight so I always thought a kind of gambling tournament with various venues in different cities. This would allow for lots of interesting locations. There could be fights that take place in the time between matches, as well as the matches themselves. They could also have stand fights between people knocked out of the tournament where they fight people trying to sabotage the main gang.

Alternate universe Giorno can exist because Josuke is technically Half Alt Uni Josuke (Josefumi) and Kira, similar to how Dio and Jonathan are "merged together" which led to Giorno being both their son. Also, whoever Josuke's child would be could be female, making her this universe Jolyne as well since Kira is also this universe's Jotaro.

I thought of part nine being inversion of part 6, because Jolyne's death makes the whole fighting Dio futile (an I don't care about achieving heaven bullshit - one of Dio's main concerns was whipping out Jostar bloodline) - instead of whipping out the universe, two universes would get merged together, or grafted on another - in this way Shizuka may be a Jojo, but bloodline aspect would be fulfilled with not-a-jojo from the other universe, for example some kyo's relative (since there's no time for Gappy's descendant to take over). And detective setting would be a great match. There would be Jolyne's counterpart in form of Shizuka, and potential Giorno in form of 'the other'. Bringing two undverses together would not only close the third trylogy, but trylogy's trylogy as well. It's so perfect, I might just go to Japan to bully Araki into doing this

Small correction. Part 1 is a horror Part 2 is Pulp Adventure ala Indiana Jones 3 is a road trip. 4 is slice of life 5 is mafia/gangster drama 6 is a prison break 7 western 8 mystery.

Kars is expected to return as the main antagonist of Part 9. Certainly he wants to take revenge on Joseph, but since he is definitely dead he will take revenge on his descendants instead.

Part 9 jojo should be Joseph who is Josuke’s son and he hates japan so trying to get away from japan travels through Europe playing BASKETBALL 3v3 in a tournament trying to reach America since the prize is the holy corpse which reopened in America not long ago. So while playing basketball with him and his two jobros he fights them using stands and hamon so for the viewers it just looks like intense street basketball. The entire reason he needs the holy corpse is to bring back the original universe by combining the holy corpse with the rokakaka fruit. Confused why he knows about the old universe? He meets EMPORIO in Japan after he tries to meet the Jotaro of the new universe and meets Josuke and Joseph. That’s where Joseph learns about the old universe and creates a plan to combine two holy objects to cure the world of its multi universe catastrophe. The series ends after part 9 with it showing the old part 1 art style of Dario Brando ending up crashing his wagon killing him and his wife instead of the Joestar family. End of series everything is set to the original timeline and peace continues through the world.

My very unrealistic dream was part 9 will go back to the OG universe and part 7 and 8 set up the story of Shizuka using the OG universe Holy corpse to take down a dystopia created by some villain that most likely manipulates time.
