I ride with a mix of brands and we all have a ball. It all comes down to your budget and style of riding. I just sold two Honda's and now have a Renegade 1000xxc and the wife has an Outlander 650 XT. What I lost in reliability I gained in capability. But it still boils down to preference. Ride what you have and be happy.........or save for an upgrade! lol

I think octacruiser should make a video telling the world there machines are maxed out with the best mods running turbos and nos. there quads running about $30-$40k a bike. when I first started watching there videos I decided to invest in a renegade and tried to be like them. I sooner came to realize that stock can am' s on 31 inch laws is expensive. I went through 3 transmissions, 4 driveshafts, and a shit ton of axles. I recently invested in a 2017 Rubicon and its the best bike I've owned.

THey are the number 1 mud ready machine on the market by a huge margin. The only thing I don't like is the air suspension, guys start having issues after a year or so. Some guys replace the system with normal shocks and never look back. The Xmr has a much stronger rear diff then the other Outlanders and Renegades. They are also built on the longer max chassis so they are 10"s longer which makes them more stable but not as sporty and tougher to wheelie
@ostacruiser11 жыл бұрын
Only the Xmr and limiteds have the air suspension and imo they do not hold up in the mud. The only thing you may have trouble with is the rear diff, the XT's have the regular diff, the Xmr has the upgraded stronger unit. You will never look back if you go Can am
@ClimbnFish8 жыл бұрын
Ran into a couple guys on Can Ams way up in Ontario. Trail was brutal and even though my Big Bear is pretty darn good in the mud I barely made it through a couple spots. Very deep. These guys came through on outlanders and made it look easy. Next ATV will be a canam....

Almost none of us run aftermarket axles, the stock ones are some of the strongest oem ones you can get, just have to stay 2" or under for lift, they don't like the extra angle that a lift puts on them

Just look for overall condition, how are the plastics, frame, are there any oil leaks. Usually it's fairly easy to tell if the previous owner has taken good care of it

I don't no biggie if a bit of crap gets sucked it, it gets blown right back out. You don't want to restrict airflow at all on the cvt snorkels, imo
