What the guys did at the end is pretty much what I do and at this point is the only thing that keeps me playing DayZ. Only most of the times I just wave to the players I save and leave. It takes forever to find these moments and get good stuff and when you finally get good stuff then you either die of hunger die by zombies or die by another player. You could get lucky and find good stuff early but if u do you’re lucky. Also you have to use a third party system just to figure out which area you’re in they could at least give u a map when you spawn so you don’t have to use a third party system to translate the signs it’s tiring having to constantly take out your phone so you can figure out where you’re at. Then there is the towns there’s so many areas that are just empty and it’s a hour trip between towns put more loot in the towns make towns closer together or more towns put stuff in the apartment buildings there are so many apartment buildings and nothing spawns it’s just a empty building what’s the point of having them. Don’t give me oh you can’t make the towns closer you can’t make more towns look at the northeast part of the map the towns are all pretty close together with some exceptions and there’s Loot everywhere why is this the only part of the map where it’s like that I get you want players to go further inland but that doesn’t mean you have to make the rest of the 85% of the map dry as hell. The game definitely has flaws and I’m sorry but I don’t have hours to put into it just to get good enough stuff and food and water just to go inland to die to start all over again there’s other games I can play and have just as much or even more fun and yes I do like a challenge but I don’t like blatant bs on a games part you should start with a map there’s absolutely no reason to not start with a map it would be the same as using a 3rd party system but you wouldn’t have to pull out your phone every time. Make more loot spawn especially apartments there is no reason to have buildings where nothing spawns I’m not saying you have to make the best loot spawn there I’m just saying make some loot spawn where you can get geared enough to go inland to get the better loot.
