I understand needing ad revenue but holy crap! An ad every 2 minutes for an hour long episode is insane! Almost unenjoyable
@viecrow527827 күн бұрын
Didn't help anything that not including ads, it took them 25 minutes to get to the story this time. 47 minutes to get roughly 15 minutes of worth of information.

@ exactly! This use to be my favorite podcast and in my opinion the last true leg of donut. Now it’s all kinda boring to watch
@franklyfettuccine446827 күн бұрын
It’s unfortunate because in order to watch the video podcast you have to deal with the normal KZbin ads as well to the point where you’ll get 2 youtube ads followed by 2 donut ads back to back
@calvinchristensen281827 күн бұрын
Yeah, not a good sign when a podcast starts front loading their videos with Ads. Could be just part of their attempt to pad the run time of the videos since they take FOREVER to start the subject these days. I couldn't care LESS about what snacks they like.
@Halfstep202426 күн бұрын
They don’t care one single fuckin bit whether you like it or not. They are milking this cash cow until it dies. So stop watching and let the poor girl go!

As a USPS Carrier I love the LLV, nothing beats breathing in exhaust gas for 8-12 hours a day while the transmission slips going 45 mph on the highway. Not to mention these things are scary fun at 70 mhp. RHD!

@@MrJMS814 in my sub days, about a dozen different zip codes would deliver out of a larger office on Sundays. Taking the freeway down to my area would shave 15 minutes of travel and traffic. Experiencing the LLV downhill at 70 is crazy 😂

Everyone forgets the FFV (flex fuel vehicles) based on the old ford Explorers. Some even came with 4wd! Still no AC and still gets terrible mileage, but it does hold more than a LLV
@Duckii_mode27 күн бұрын
I use to work on some of these trucks. USPS would outsource maintenance on these trucks and I think the reason why we don’t see to many out in the wild is because they will take parts from other trucks and basically combine them or eventually just trash them. These things are a lot of fun to drive!

its the same as why some Police Forces still used late model Ford Crown Victoria's until 2020 such as Boston for ex I know this because my dad was a Boston police officer from Nov 1987 until April 2024 and used to bring the Cruisers home back in the day it was either the Crown Vic or a Chevrolet Impala sure the were large heavy & fuel in efficient not that it mattered Gas was relatively cheap for most of his time as a police officer accept during recessions such as the Gulf War after 911 Etc. a late model Vic had a 19 gallon tank and averaged 18 MPG combined while a 2008 Impala has a 17 Gallon Tank and averages 22.4 MPG combined unless you had the SS [Super Sport] model with the 323 CID of 5.3 L V8 under hood which averages 19 MPG combined

Im on board with changes, but Ev doesn't work in the southern dakota territory. As temperate are very cold. I have family members who never leave the city because things don't accommodate ev. The temp kills battery. We get to -30 degrees F.
@DaveKootchie27 күн бұрын
But they can be stored inside and charged overnight? Storage temperatures hurts EV batteries. If they are stored at a warmer temp and the battery is warm when operating then they shouldn't lose much range. Also I can imagine a lot of the LLV's don't start in -30 either.
@nielsen29527 күн бұрын
@DaveKootchie either way once they get out in the cold the the battery dies much faster. Even phones and things die quicker up here in the winter and well anywhere it's very cold. Like negative 2 digits cold.

This episode would have been awesome if 45 min into the video there was an odd silence, the three of them start looking at each other silently with questioning faces, then slowly they turn into nauseous looks.... still silence... The three of them look at an empty bag of kangaroo jerky sitting on the table.... then BOOM... VIOLENT projectile vomiting kangaroo jerky!!!
