Why we use high-yield income strategies in early retirement

Many investors aspire to build an investment portfolio large enough to allow them to retire comfortably. This process typically takes a few decades and may involve a diversified mix of investments - some geared towards longer-term capital growth and others towards more immediate income. However, some enterprising investors choose to accelerate their wealth creation in hopes of retiring much earlier.
