The toupret filler to try is tx110. I think most of us get used to one product knowing setting times etc.

I agree toupret Tx10 is the one to try

Why tx110 I use toupret interior all the time I thought tx110 was just fast drying?
@paulf25292 күн бұрын
@jeffbruce1050 For me the quick setting is usually an advantage. I think it mixes slightly differently and perhaps less slump than the regular interior toupret. In honesty though I just tend to buy the tx110.

TouPret TX10 has no depth limitation. Best filler for deep repairs and sets quickly, sands well. Polyfilla is inferior, along with any filler that needs multiple fills for basic repairs.

I found Toupret more difficult to use and doesn't leave the best finish on flat walls. Pollyfilla sands better leaves a smooth finish. Thanks
Thanks for the video. I use Gyproc Easifill 20 Filler, for me the best of all!

Nice comparison there. I’ve used the toupret in their various different ranges and also the pollyfilla. Me personally will use either pollyfilla or toupret. I do see your point regarding mixing toupret can be a bit funny if you add too much water. I believe it has resins in it willing may explain how it goes so hard but difficult to mix with trapped air. Interesting to see all 3 though buddy! Thanks for sharing ✌️

Appreciate your time making the videos.., I’ve always used the Polyfilla easy sand and won’t be changing anytime soon, I just find it easy to use and it never shows up after painting.., I’m no expert but it’s never let me down! 👍

Used them all and easi fill is the best mainly the 20 and 60 doesn't need spot priming with vinyl's either. Sand and cement for general exterior repairs exterior fillers to expensive for general repairs the toupret exterior lighhweight ready mixed is good for any last minute small repairs can't understand why a lot of people are paying £70-80 for 10-15 kg for exterior filler.
@paulf2529Күн бұрын
@jackwardley3626 for exterior masonry filling I agree with you, sand cement and sbr makes for really strong repairs. I can't say I like easifill as it to me sets a bit soft.

Quick Drying Polyfilla in a tube for 99% of my filling. Can’t be doing with mixing stuff at my old age 😂 They do a Big Hole filler in a tub which I always carry too.. if I can’t just foam it!

you needed to add some more powder to the toupret, not a fair test. I'm surprised you didn't test british gypsum easyfill too.

@@sadiporter2966 maybe but not sure it would have made much difference on how sticky it is. Like others have said you find what works best for yourself and the particular thing you're filling.

I find polyfilla is poor for correcting shallow defects and mapping. De-bonds when you paint over it (with water based paint). Easyfill and Toupret are better options for these types of defects imo. Good video though 👍

Couldn’t find any polyfilla for a recent job,so used Toupret instead. I always add a drop of pva to the mix and found the toupret a lot smoother and easier to work with

Toupret TX110 is miles better than Polyfilla, that Toupret patch & repair filler isn't great , TX110 is top notch.
