Good video, wear earplus - I use Earpeace plugs, they are always on my bike and I won't ride w/out em. ALSO - on long long rides, they make it all more and more comfortable.

I wear plugs all the time and now my music on the Cardo is so much clearer. The plugs eliminate almost all of the wind noise. 👍🏻

I don’t personally wear earplugs due to my own comfort but my husband (a concert sound engineer) won’t ride without the foam ones, and he’s always trying to get me to wear them! Maybe I’ll check this kind out once it warms up!

I also run these. Long term wind buffeting even inside a helmet is fatiguing. I like the aluminum canister the come in.

Great video! I use Vario custom moulded plugs which can have different inserts depending on what you are doing - totally customisable. I mainly use them at the range, but do wear them on longer rides. Must admit I don't bother on short local rides! I probably should!

I had a custom pair of plugs made at Black Hills Harley during the 2017 rally and will never ride without them again. One of the best things I have ever bought for my motorcycle.

Great video Whit! I'll have to look into those. I've had the mashable, moldable orange ones for years (old military habit). But if these work well with reducing ambient and white noise but allow for radio and SENA comms to be heard then I'm for 'em! Thanks!!!! 🤘😊

They absolutely do! I find the foam ones just muffle everything, and seem to pop out easier in my ears. These fit perfectly for me.

I had a custom set made they fit my ears perfect. I like them even when I wear my full face helmet. so I had a 2nd set made just in case i loose them

Many years back I decided to ride with ear plugs...oh my...how did I ever get on with out em??? They help with everything from saving your hearing to making the ride more comfortable and less taxing. I have tried so many...strangely the cheap throw away foam ones seem to work best.

I've tried Eargasm plugs, but they were only one size. They were too big and the hard piece caused a good amount of discomfort. I tried a couple other brands that were smaller, but I kept getting tired of having to keep cleaning them. Ended up buying a big box of disposable foam plugs, and they honestly work just as well at the cost of attenuating all sound. However, my Sena headset is still very much usable with them. Mainly, I have to take them out at gas stops and riding breaks to hear people talking to me. I will say that the big benefit to these types of plugs (Eargasm and others like them) is they target the wind noise frequencies and others are still pretty clear and not totally attenuated.

Super comfortable! Ooo good question about it. I’m going on a full year and no problems at all. I’ll dig into that question more as far as replacement timeframe.

I rode my bike twice for a short amount of time with no ear protection at all, it was uncomfortable on my ears and then I noticed oh damn im gonna damage my ears, so far i think im ok but i dont know, do you think i caused any permanent damage?
