I have high hopes from UP-SCR(Uttar Pradesh's-State Capital Region) development. If Central Uttar Pradesh (Awadh region) is developed, it will not only improve the standard of living of millions of people, but we can also nullify this East-West divide hypothesis. I am from kushinagar eastern UP and i want to say that eastern UP is also improving now especially in terms of education for last few years and we must understand that eastern up is near bihar (your surroundings also matter ) while western up is near delhi which is one of the biggest reason for difference and also at the time of independence both parts were almost equally developed and politicians are also responsible for this difference. And the pan eating is not everywhere in Eastern up its mainly in Banaras and gundaraj is everywhere in up not only in Eastern up thats the fact and yes i accept the fact that in Eastern up people give vote on the basis of caste but that does not mean Western people don't do so.... And the way you western guys are shameless on Easter up and saying that you are completely different from eastern up just bcoz west part is more developed today instead you guys should show support eastern part for its development and give your thoughts why east is less developed and its loopholes .. When i was in college, I have met some really nice people and some not so nice from east and other regions of UP. You can't take social media seriously. Most of the people here are keyboard warriors. I would disagree with you on one thing regarding govt spending money in west UP. I can't say about entire west UP but certainly for ghaziabad. Here Most of the development is due to private players investment and not due to the state govt. We have good private colleges and not one decent govt college just to give you one example.

East UP mein mainly following reasons hai 1) NEPOTISM: they always promote apne bete - bhaai 2) APPROACH: they are not ready to change the way they take things , always believe in doing govt. job or else they run towards metropolitan cities like delhi , mumbai , but are not ready to take the risk for private jobs or business ( AKA hard work ) 3) They never think of others especially as a community. Always provide benefits to their loved ones in place of the deserving one . 4) Western UP is developed because we always chose the hard work (comes into business even if had to take a bank loan) and think of our community we don't think of just us and our blood relatives we think and work for whole of our neighbourhood and always stand aganist every goons not like eastern up where you people carry fear of goons/ mafia and dont dare to stand aganist them 😤 In Western UP people always chose the righteous leader over "neta ka beta neta" 🙄
