Why & What do YOU Collect??

I remember when the McFarlane Toys came out. Like my fellow Canadian Todd, I was in my 1st year of college studying Illustration hoping one day to be drawing for one of the big Comic companies. His art was a big influence. His line of collectables blew us away. Like you though, I didn't start collecting until my early thirties. I collect some verious superhero characters, Spidey of course 🤣, Batman etc, your standards of superheroes, but my main focus has been The Lord of the Rings. And like you, I collect not for resale or prophet, but for the passion. I also take them out of the package to handle. Nothing like that fresh smell of fabric and plastic! I keep the package though, wich is a collection in itself! 🤣. I also collect the Hot wheels Starwars ships. The truth is, if I had the financial resources, I'd have a collection like you. A wide variety of interests and a collection to reflect. I guess I'll have to live vicariously through you! 😉 Love the videos. I thoroughly enjoy everyone! Keep em coming! Live Long and Prosper! I have been collecting since 2011. The main reason was actually my old man who refused to get me action figures when i was little so when i saw those adult collectibles, i was completely blown away and it got me into collecting since then 😅😅❤❤❤

I collect Horror and DC with 66 Batman being my favorite. for me collecting is more nostalgic the $6 million man space 1999. These things that I used to see the original toys when I was a kid so every time I see that old goodness in vintage toys, I collect certain things things that are in my budget and I collect to keep sometimes I open things sometimes I don’t. I collect hot toys mostly. I collect smaller stuff too, but I’m downsizing tremendously as I find that I enjoy my collection much more when it’s smaller. I appreciate the items more and have more fun enjoying the few as opposed to just having many. Its a great time to be a collector because there’s so much stuff, but it also makes us have to be more picky as opposed to before when there wasn’t much to choose from.

It came from the slogan so "Easy, even a Monkey can do it!" And since Collecting is so cool, we are "Gifted Monkeys!" There ya go! We had another channel on KZbin called Gifted MonkeyTV which has older Action figure reviews (You can still find it! on KZbin) but we had trouble with that channel and I got busy with work.
