James 2:10 tells us, “For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.” Sin is sin, and we are all guilty of falling short of God’s standards. It’s not our place to condemn others, but to show them love and grace. Jesus Himself said in John 8:7, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone.” God loves everyone, and He hates our sin, but He calls us to love others as He loves us. If we truly follow Christ, we should reflect His love, grace, and humility, not judgment, pride, and division. There are no rules against a student reading it or praying. We have volunteer clubs for Christians such as FCA. It's a really tough conversation. I don't support abortion no, but not every situation is the same. A woman had unsafe sex and doesn't want the consequences? No abortion, absolutely not. A 15 year old rape victim who gets pregnant? As much as that is awful and the child will absolutely be put in an orphanage, I still think no abortion. But what about when the birth wouldn't kill the baby but would kill the mother? That is hard not to give the mother the choice to live or die. What about if the baby is already dead and birth would kill the mother too? Well that isn't a hypothetical. The doctor refused that abortion and the woman ended up dying. It's not black and white. As much as I want to say that it is, it just isn't. There has to be some sort of middle ground we can take.
