You can see how broken, beaten, and humbled Rita is in this scene and you can't help but feel bad for her even though you know she was awful... but karma's a b**** . @ancypaul6900 Him and alma was supposed to do it together, but she chickened out at the last minute, and he didn't, He trusted her to go through with it but Alma let her own husband die alone Because she was too much of a narcissist to kill herself. He was a good husband, but alma did nothing but let him down to the very end. Granted, he was a murderer, but he wanted to save ailing people from suffering and he was traumatized after he had to kill his dying mother as a child, but Alma killed for her own selfish personal gain and she felt zero guilt about it.
