I can honestly say (as a girl) that the very last point at the end hit the nail on the head. If I feel like a guy is really pursuing, it can come off as pushy and almost creepy and I feel like I don't have control over the situation. It is much more exhilarating to feel like I'm the one pursuing the guy and feeling more in control of the situation, like it's an achievement sort of thing like "wining him over" because that keeps me excited and on my toes!! Ofcourse only if the guy is also showing mutual interest and reciprocating, but not being smothering from the jump like a lot of guys do. You do certainly have to show that you are also interested in return though. Just sayin that girls receive unwanted attention and it can be exhausting, so it's a nice change to feel like you (the girl) are the one who's in the driver's seat. Hope this helps someone
