I was that guy who constantly validated my ex, and she ended up taking me for granted. It hurt, but it was a lesson I needed. Now I focus on building my confidence from within

Stoic Legend must be psychic because this video is preaching today… wish I could go back and redo some decisions I made, but an extremely valuable lesson was learned. My young sons will learn the act of stoicism very early and they will know how to move forward, not only in relationships, but in life.

Giving a woman a compliment actually increases her attraction for you when she's trying to get your interest level up. Only give this reward when she's putting in the effort. It always worked for me.

This video truly resonated with me, especially the idea that seeking validation through excessive compliments or actions only diminishes self-worth. It’s a powerful reminder to focus on inner confidence and let actions speak louder than words-something I’ll definitely apply in my relationships. Thank you for this eye-opening perspective!

I’ve been guilty of this in the past. I remember constantly trying to prove my worth to a woman I liked by validating her every chance I got. It didn’t work, and she ended up dating someone else who wasn’t even giving her half the attention I was

Thank you for sharing your experience. It’s something many of us can relate to. It’s easy to fall into the trap of over-validating, especially when our intentions are good. But as you’ve noticed, less can often be more. Sometimes, giving space and valuing ourselves first creates the dynamic of mutual respect and attraction. Your awareness of this is already a huge step forward. Keep focusing on your growth, and remember that your worth isn’t tied to how much attention you give, but how much you value yourself. Wishing you the best on your journey!

I’m tired of talking about how strange it is, that women react this way, and how baffling it is that they prefer to be treated poorly. From now on, I’m just going to do it, and damn trying to figure out why.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts! I get where you're coming from - it can be exhausting trying to make sense of certain reactions. Instead of overanalyzing, sometimes it's better to focus on your own growth and stay true to your values. Remember, treating others with respect and dignity, regardless of the response, is ultimately a reflection of your own character. Keep focusing on being the best version of yourself, and the right connections will naturally come your way. Wishing you the best on your journey!

You should never be attached to a woman. Always give her limited attention. She should fight for your attention through out the span of your whole life.

Thank you for sharing your perspective! 🌟 I agree that maintaining a healthy level of independence and self-respect is essential in any relationship. However, it's also about balance. True connection grows when both partners feel valued and appreciated. It's not just about making her fight for your attention, but creating a space where both people genuinely want to invest in each other. What do you think about finding that balance? 😊

i don't give validation to anyone even to myself and if anyone close to me needs validation from me, it will not happen, i am not here to stroke someone's ego or their pride for that matter.

Thanks for sharing your perspective! I appreciate your strong stance on self-reliance and independence. It’s true that not being dependent on external validation can help build inner strength and resilience. At the same time, offering genuine encouragement or support can sometimes be a way of strengthening bonds without feeding into ego or pride. It's all about finding the balance that aligns with your values. Thanks again for your input-it's great to hear different takes on this topic!

Thank you so much for sharing your perspective! 😊 You're absolutely right-many women do value consistent validation and affection, and it's an important aspect of a healthy relationship. This video focuses on the balance between giving space and showing care, but your point highlights the need for understanding individual needs and communication. I appreciate you bringing this up! What other aspects do you think could be added to make it even more balanced? 🌟

Instead of trying to gain attention and validation from women through compliments or actions, maintaining self-control, balance, and self-worth will create natural attraction. This not only reflects a confident man but also allows the relationship to grow based on respect and inner strength. The Stoic approach emphasizes focusing on what we can control-our thoughts, actions, and self-worth-rather than trying to control the emotions or actions of others. This not only improves relationships but also brings inner peace.

Wow, such a clear explanation of the dichotomy of control! What do you think is the most misunderstood concept in Stoicism?
@StoicLegend_Official
@StoicLegend_Official 9 күн бұрын
As for the most misunderstood concept in Stoicism, I’d say it’s the idea of "indifference" or "apatheia." Many people think Stoicism teaches us to suppress emotions and become cold, but it’s actually about mastering our emotions and responding with reason, not simply ignoring our feelings. Stoics aim to experience tranquility by focusing on what we can control, not by denying emotions altogether. What do you think? Is there a Stoic concept you’ve found tricky to understand? Thank you for engaging with the video! Feel free to share it with others who might enjoy this discussion. 🙏
