Hi Ivanna....Happy New year !! My son is looking to do his master's in data sciences, and I was wondering how good it would be to try Norwegian Business school, there is a very less information available for this new course introduced by this university....

Thanks for all this things you do. For me, I have a little experience as Fronten, like 3 months now and I can tell that the place where I am is very flexible, there is deadlines but all can be talked. Personally, I wouldn't like to work in a university, for the salary ando the deadlines. I like the code now, maybe some day I would teach but inside the company, not in university. Again, thanks a lot for show all your journey

Hi. After PhD you could continue working in the university, or check how is job market in Norway. PhD is 3-4 years, so it is hard to say what will be with jobs in Norway by then. But having PhD gives you opportunity to keep working in the university or go to private company. And you always can come back to university, if private company is not your thing. Just it may take some time to get a right position open.

What is the percentage difference between IT and Academia? Where the workload is higher?

It depends mainly on the person, but as I explained in the video, in the university you have more strict deadlines that push you work more

@@IvannasNorskLife Yes, but what's about your subjective experience?
@IvannasNorskLife

In my subjective experience, I had periods in university with 80% load, and more periods with 120-160% load. At my current work as data scientist I had 100% load, and as team lead 100-120%
