If you're referring to the eating sushi of a naked lady, that's just a weird thing done first in Japan and then it spread elsewhere. Imo it's not that extreme:D Of course there's a sexual aspect, because men are looking at the woman, but otherwise they're just eating. I know Hollywood celebrities and im the music industry they do weird ooccult rituals and probably at Ye's birthday they did that stuff, but that eating sushi off a naked woman is just a weird Japanese thing.

Being bipolar is not good and of course not something confortable. Is common that people with so much creativity and passion end having mental issues. You can't be average and extraordinary at the same time. It would be too perfect and not natural if someone is like that. You need big ego to achieve big things because others will try to take you down. I work hard on what I do, and can say I don't sleep enough. But Finding the balance between working obsessively and pushing out product is still something I am learning. I love Ye and his work ethic, but making fun of people's clothes is not cool. My parental figure used to tell me I look like a bum and was not dressed well enough to eat at the table on thanksgiving. What about all the Donda 2 Producers & Writers? What About All The Good Music Artists Who Audited The Label And Still Haven’t Been Paid? They Still Don’t Have Their Masters Even Tho He Said Years Ago He’d Give Them Back… Sunday Service Choir Having To Sue For Not Being Paid? There are so many other situations that go against what you are saying.

@@geekboutit Donda 2 got scrapped. No release, No pay. Dropped on stem player, but it wasn't official. It never touched streaming platforms, so there's no money to go around. Not to mention he was still updating it. If it never got officially released, What money are they supposed to be paid?

@@geekboutitNah, I 'm Nite. Now, if Ye would've done completely what Prince did and release it on his Own website or something. Then, yeah. I'd agree to your point completely, but because there was a third party involved who advertised & distributed that's over 50% cut already. Not being on streaming services also makes for way less dividends to go out. It's also their tech he's using. Stemplayer co. might've taken a bigger cut than we know. Before they dropped him he had been stopped updating the album on the site, yet still continued work on the project. With all the different prototype's Stemplayer started working on after the initial upload, they most likely took a big portion of those earnings.

to me it seems like a good thing, he's passionate about his music, and pushing his collaborators to be the best they can be. Like rick ross on devil in a new dress, kanye made him rewrite his verse like 5 times

Except theres a difference between how he treats celebrities with voices and employees who he doesn't even see as human. If you don't literally work yourself into the hospital he will subject you to endless abuse and sometimes will do it anyway even if you do. Its actually disturbing the type of shit you fanboys will make excuses for just because it's him doing it.
@RarityArchive11 ай бұрын
Also he does all that just for all his new music to be garbage because of him and him only. And the reason for that is he only wants yes men around him. Everyone he works with get screamed at the whole time for essentially nothing while he gets to make the most mediocre shit of his entire career and none of his collaborators even get to give constructive criticism. Matter fact he doesn't want collaborators he wants subjects that he can control and abuse and thats it.

This "Ye" is the greatest living artist of our time trope has become so so tiring. Such an over-enthusiastically superficial over-simplification of evaluation that brings nothing good to the table, other than mental illness and delusions of grendeur, that with time end up becoming pure insanity. C'mon guys, he is a great artist, one of the greatest in fact, but not more than that, not THE GREATEST. There is no such thing in our universe. There are a lot of geniuses out there, a lot that are a bigger than him in a lot of genres of music. As with everything in life in fact. Such is life. You see, having people working for you for up to 40 hours straight, without any sleep, for the production of an album, is not a sign of professionalism or great work ethics, it is a clear sign of megalomania. One that is achieved after years and years of being sorrounded only by ass-kissing "yes-men", who praise your genius all day long just so they can have a bone of validation thrown at them, all while you literally start thinking that, of course, you are the reincarnation of jesus, why not, what else is there?. You do not have to be a genius to know that in order to have people be productive in their work for you, they have to be well-fed and well-rested and having them pass out in the studio due to overexhaustion is just you sabotaging your own work, as if people are tired they cannot output their best effort in being productive, so the decision to be an asshole and put that kind of pressure just because you are in the position to do so, is stupidly counterproductive to what you want to achieve. And by the way, someone who really is a genius and the most intelligent person in the room, does not need to advertise the fact that one is a genius and the most intelligent person in the room. You do not evaluate your own intrlligence as if you are an island that plays by different rules of biology. Intelligent people do not need validation for their intelligence, not their genius, let alone validation from themselves every time thry open their mouth. In fact, that is a clear sign of an extreme insecurity and inferiority complex, which is a vicious cycle that adds up to itself in a feedback loop the more time passes and you end up to a point where you become a ridiculous caricature of who you really are. That is why we see celebrities like Kanye or Ye or whatever other persona he decided to create that day, thinking that every time they open their mouth, out come pearls of wisdom and they think they are the wisest not only in their field of knowledge and competence but in any field of life such as politics for example, and we all know how well that went for Kanye. This is an issue which has become an indication of a troubling pathology of our society in general, the reverence and adoration of celebrities, as if they are better human beings than the rest of us, whose shit does not stink, and don't get me wrong, I do not give a shit about Kanye, I don't have a dog in this race, it is the same shit for Kanye or Drake or Lil Uzi Vert or ASAP whatever or Elon Musk or Sam Bankman Fried or Chenpeng Zhao or Ryan Reynolds or Dwayne Johnson or Vin Diesel or Kim Kardashian or whatever other famous individual might be, one that needs that sweet-sweet dopamine from the fanboys and fangirls, all while going around with their entourage of lawyers and bodyguards and the PR executives that must constantly feed them lines through their earpiece, in order to act humble and as just "one of us", but at the same time look as being better than all of us. But people are not stupid anyways. At the end of the day, we have always seen what lies beyond the facade of such "genius" and "high intelligence" - an empty shell, just empty "content" instead of substance, and, as a jewel on the crown, instead of personality - the most pathetic word of the 21st century - their "Brand".

Kanye is very talented but his behavior is consistently awful. Him being a genius is not so much applicable as it is a part of his brand identity. Considering how many have helped him get where he is, his fans have no business pretending his outrageous behavior is more beneficial just cause he has good albums.
