I LOVE THESE REAL CONVERSATIONS👏🏾👏🏾 Hearing perspectives from a married woman and a woman in a relationship provides different opinions and similar thought processes and opinions. I’m in a relationship and I look forward to being my partners wife and DjExel touched on some real points being married and the importance of marriage for those who believe in marriage and desire that life.

@@BossBrittxDJeXeL - What is the point of it (this has been addressed, but I still kinda feel like why tho) - What are some key differences between being married and not being married *aside* from the paperwork/finances and title? In what ways does it feel different? - For people that have had multiple marriages, how do they know that that’s the person they wanna marry bc they also “knew” with the first ex wife 💁🏽♀️ Bonus question I thought of while watching, does your attachment style change over time while married?

I definitely bought a house with my Fiancé, unfortunately it didn’t work out. I left the house cause truly she wanted me out. But she was great on with what happened cause less then 90 days later she moved her new WIFE & kids in.

I agree with Brit why we gotta put the government in our business to regulate our marriage when we made a promise together to God…I’d much rather make arrangements within the marriage together on paper on our own instead of with the government.

Marriage, for us (LGBTQIA+,) it's about protection for you and your spouse. Unfortunately, LGBTQIA couples have a hard time when it comes to decision making with regards to our spouse. 10+ years in Michigan is considered "common law" but, even that won't hold up if your spouse gets sick or passes away.

Marriage isn’t just business but business is included It should be considered love is beautiful but if you and your wife don’t consider your future decisions Financially as businesses transactions and making sure they are not just your partner but a good business partner you will fail ultimately

O im dying to give my input on this one lol. you know when i first came out as a teen all the way through my 20's i was obsessed with the idea of being married and having some happily ever after an im gonna say f**k Disney for that lol. but then as i got older i realized i dont know many real successful marriages and the ones i did look up to never made it either. i spent 6 years with someone and i'd made it clear i wanted to be engaged by year 4 and it didnt happen. and guess what? i end up having this epiphany anyway that i didnt wanna get married anymore at all. i just found it to be an expensive break up. you can do everything but check the married box off on your taxes, including medical decisions actually. and with the way society moves and our coming generations the golden girls idea will probably be a common thing lol the idea of being with one person for the rest of your life when you really think about it can give a mf anxiety lmao its just not for me.

They say never say never, but after witnessing how evil and vindictive my wife is while going through this separation - that “marriage” convo going forward after my divorce is a total NO NO. I can agree to us being long term partners.

First off african marriages in the beginning was NOT about love! Its a business contract….esp in the congo! Its about th wife making babies, and if he divorces her he has to pay a penalty fee! Look it up!

And there should be a difference in what you do with your Gf versus wife But things are so blurred now I can see why some people be like I can do that without a title ! But as a gay get married because we are not taken serious out here union wise And marriage solidifies everything you build
