Now the controller isn’t something I would personally use just because I’m more of a Serato guy I’m not into the “USB djing” in general but I could definitely see situations where this setup would come in clutch……small rooms, house parties, pool parties, store openings, cookouts etc. pretty much gigs where it could be cumbersome to find power or it would be just convenient for everything to be wireless and battery powered. Every gig isn’t a big party or a wedding. As far as the price you have to keep in mind it is still a full fledged all in one no computer needed, built in effects, and some features never seen in any product before like Bluetooth out and Bluetooth in (you can Bluetooth from your phone something from KZbin and it actually loads to a deck on the unit itself and you can manipulate it like any other song.) A pioneer dj xdj rx3 cost $2100 and doesn’t have some of the features that’s on this unit. I will say it still fails right now in the fact there’s no streaming built in but hopefully that will come in an update. Now for the speaker definitely the more interesting product. Some guys I can tell haven’t really read on the product. The reason of that little box is that is what sends the wireless signal and it’s not Bluetooth it’s an ultra low latency technology called SonicLink. I’ve definitely had plenty of gigs where I wish I could have just 1 or 2 speakers positioned somewhere to get the room or a certain area more filled with sound but would require some sort of wireless solution or long cable run. Now we have something where that’s built in and you can chain up to 8 of these together. I’m really liking the technology because DJs have definitely for years been interested in ways to eliminate wires……just my 2 cents the products themselves may not be super appealing but the technology they are introducing definitely is for sure…

Well said @FlowD505!!! Jay you're being that guy right now. Different strokes for different folks. I wouldn't get the Omnis, it's not for me. But there are many different dj's, different venues, different setups that the Omnis may be useful for, more than a "few" Jay. And honestly, that bluetooth connection where you can control and manipulate the track just like it was in your Serato library...that's serious! Many times I've had to pull up something on my phone, or someone gives me their phone and would have been good to be able to manipulate, adjust tempo...this makes it possible. Now like @FlowD505 said, the Wave Eight is interesting. Don't tell me you have never, ever, ever thought "damn this wiring is a b****!!!" Me and many others have. I wouldn't use them without plugged in power, but this is introducing a new audio wireless connection that seems very reliable with no latency. From the videos I've seen, the sound seems legit, with some decent low end for an 8". The thing is hideous looking though, so I'll wait to check out future 12" or 15" versions, but you can't shut down the speaker if you haven't heard it yourself or tested the audio wireless features.

I saw the ad and the rep demonstrated how you can dj with anything that has audio using KZbin (????) and demonstrated a sound pulled from netflix. Neat, however is it gonna bring some trouble and possibly affect our available streaming content?

I own the numark pro go as a back up. Not going to lie that thing is dope. I use it for smaller outdoor gigs, where no power is available. That is the only application I can see the battery powered options is amazing. get some battery speakers and those. done deal!!! In my opinion it is not for the average wedding dj. 2024 it is coming BOOK!!! lol wireless era. I was fighting it for the longest and finally gave in. Went to NAMM 2024 and only had a chance to grab a few videos of it. Played it for 5min and it feels like my numark. ( I like my jog wheels better than those)

It’s using the same technology as SKAA. And I can say. It’s is instant there is no delay. I use it all the time no wires plus I can put the speakers (battery powered ). Any where when there is no available outlets

For the Omnis Duo, definitely a miss especially at $1,500 when you can get the Denon prime go. The wave 8 speaker is cool that it has the connect box, but it huge, ugly front and weighs 26lbs. If you want a bigger, heavier powered speaker just get the everse 12 with the extra bass at that price point. I will stay with the everse 8 all day! Great video Jay!

Gym gigs. I DJ at Burn Boot Camp in Las Vegas when I go on vacation there and I can fit my Prime Go in my carry-on. No power needed, just one cable from the controller to their mixer. I'm setup in seconds.
