Ok i hear you but not every person with dental damage is a shitty person or neglected hygiene. I'm a nurse and mother of4, I was born with a dental condition I didn't grow any adult teeth, and I grew up in foster care so none of the protective work was done as a kid, so my teeth are tiny and chipped, I will have to get dentures as the baby teeth are damaged too much, but my children have perfect teeth and when I overhear mumbles like meth mouth it actually breaks me. I'm a good person and parent, regardless of what I look like.

Unfortunately it’s necessary that CPS allow these horrid things play out - as long as the child is being monitored and safe. That’s the only way they can collect the right kind of evidence to prove these “parents” were neglecting their children. This helps to prove without a doubt that these children get out of this hell and, hopefully, into a safe, caring and loving forever home. Our judicial system maintains that every citizen is innocent until proven guilty - and that requires solid evidence.

This reminds me a story my grandfather told me. He worked for the Shreveport police department and years ago he had a coworker that would seriously abuse his son. He'd make him eat off the ground, outside with the dogs, beat him, and make him sleep outside. My grandpa tried to get the kid some help by alerting another officer but nothing ever came of it, this was in a time where they just swept stuff like that under the rug. Well when this kid grew up he became a serial killer called the Gainesville ripper. I'm not excusing what this man did, but I do wonder if he had grown up in a loving home if he would've become such a monster.

I read so many comments about teeth. If she can't take care of her teeth how can she take care of her kids. My beautiful wife has teeth that are perfectly aligned and white but braking off. They are brittle and chipped at the roots. She gave birth to 3 kids now 5,4 and 2 and we expect our 4th in mid may. She is the most loving nurturing and protective mother I know. Her body had a lot of work growing these little once and in spite of her brushing at leased 3 times a day and her visiting the dentist twice a year she will lose her teeth. Having bad teeth does not define a good parent from a bad one.

@@jessycavalentine4866 Not trying to be divisive but typically Caucasian/non-minority babies/toddlers are adopted very quickly. There is actually a wait list in many areas. So the children were adopted immediately to a great home-that's why they lost all rights. Children of color and disabled children are unfortunately recycled through the system and returned to the parents several times because their adoption rates are lower... Edit: Disabled and special needs children...also I am a woman of color so I am not trying to discriminate, just stating that minority/special needs kids are not adopted as rapidly

My grandpa was a cop and had a coworker who was also a police officer who was super abusive to his son and made him eat dog food outside with the dogs... this kid grew up to be a serial killer (the Gainesville ripper) abuse like this really messes people up in the head

My babies are 19 and my babies 15 I was married for 19 years gave up my life for my children and my husband and my husband after 22 years of marriage decided that's not what he wanted anymore and left the state abandoning me and my daughters everyday I realize that I stood all along with him because of them and now he's gone and I'm all alone with the girls I cherish every moment I still have with them because I know soon they'll be adults and making their own life away from me so sorry you didn't get the chance I hope you do one day can you adopt we were actually thinking of adopting before he decided he didn't want to be married and have a family anymore now he's in another state with another woman with her child making another life LOL can't even afford the life he has right now that he abandoned sometimes that grass isn't greener on the other side he'll know that's his number six so far and the divorce isn't even dried yet
