I don't think they HAVE to turn her heel, just make her more edgy. This past Raw was the PERFECT time to do it. She should've came out and in Kayfabe, realized that her kindness has gotten her beaten, embarrassed, and now injured, and she realizes that's gotten her no where. I think Bayley needs a character change. Take A.J Lee for example. When A.J Lee came up to the WWE in 2010 until 2012 she was nerdy and no one cared about her. When they changed A.J Lee's character to the crazy chick in December of 2012, that's when everybody cared about her and her career took off. I liked her from day one, I saw her on NXT, but no one else did until the crazy chick character change in December of 2012. they "saved" the money matches and basically made the bayley character start all over again when she was already a leader (kayfabe and otherwise) on nxt. she went through dana brooke for a month, waited 2 months after seemingly being the next challenger when charlotte attacked her at survivor series 2016, got her big moment at fast lane of all ppv's, and, all of a sudden, she can't compete in No DQ matches that she asked for. i understand nxt is "non canon" in a way, but she's actually four horsewomen, kayfabe and otherwise, meaning she is a competent wrestler, and a competent character, handled by incompetent writers who, by the way, missed an opportunity of having mickie james be bayley's first feud after wrestlemania, just in time to drop it to sasha at summerslam 2017, rematch, AND THEN alexa bliss v sasha banks.

She DIDN'T want to hurt Alexa, what should have happened, was WWE should have had a plant or a relative of Bayley get attacked by Alexa. In regards to the kendo stick match, the referee failed to disqualify Alexa Bliss for using the kendo stick in that match. The stipulations of the match was "the woman that got the kendo stick first can legaly use it in the match" which was Bayley who got the kendo stick first. The match was not a non-disqualification match.

This is what should be done for not only Bailey but the entire WWE women's division. During their next shake-up they should move all the women to the exact same show, and move all the cruiserweights to the opposite show. Then they should ad woman's tag team titles, and maybe even an InterContinental Women's Championship. Have the two Champions fight and combine those titles, and then allow the other women to do some of their best matches as a tag team. This will open the door for the Bellas return next year, as well as having Dana Brooke team up with Emma, again. They could even have Nia Jax and Tamina either fight or team up to be one dominant tag team. This will give more opportunities for more stories while using their entire cast as opposed to just throwing them and matches just to get them some air time. Too many times they try to make some of these women look like Main eventers, but maybe with an Intercontinental title or tag team titles they can sit in the midcard for a while until they get on the level of Charlotte or Asuka.

I don't know if her injury is kayfabe or legit but either way I think it could work very well for her. Give her a Daniel Bryan underdog role, that would really help her. Especially if it was a heel Sasha having a long run and her being the mighty underdog to overcome the unbeatable champion

I just hope that when she returns, she is changed conpletely. Whether thats making her heel or making her character better.

One thing that really sucks about the Alexa/Bayley feud was that they actually had a pretty good match at Payback. Unfortunately, it's lumped in with the rest of that terrible feud, so no one gives it any credit.

They misused her. Kinda like Wyatt. Misuse them so much, no one will care anymore. She needs to go away for awhile. Then they can rebuild her. She can't go heel.

She's just so... Eh honestly. She can wrestle, sure. But there's nothing dynamic about her character. You can name something definitive about Charottle, Sasha, Bliss, and arguably Naomi, Nia Jax and Becky. Bayleys just... A hugger I guess? she just needs a few more tweaks to her character and she'll be over
