Another factor is their service. I Bought two Mi 11x 5g phones. One of their displays started malfunctioning within 5-6 months. Their service centre told us that it's out of warranty due to a very minor dent on the side casing, which probably was due to the protective cover that we used. The biggest reason is visibly competition in mid range budget phones. Many players have entered into the foray post Mi huge leap likes of #realme #infinix #iqoo #oneplus #samsung what #MI did was it never tried to raise the bar until some other chinese brand like oneplus earned a premium band in the market but it was too late for mi and also bad user experience cost the company huge downfall.

Redmi phones till note 11 it's a good phone but after 11 I can see cheap motions and unclear pixels. Poco series are a huge disappointment heating issues and motherboard. 👎🏽 I'm a genuine redmi customer which I started from note 5,6,7,8,9,10 & now 11. I've trusted Mi in early years, bought redmi 5, y3, note 6, 10 prime, 11T 5G and in last the Redmo note 12 pro plus. But, gradually, they have reduced the quality of OS, features and overall experience. Just like most common trend, i have always been an active follower of Samsung's premium segment. Ultimately, i have moved to S series. Xiaomi should focus on strategy and segments before it is too late.

MI was populer in beginning because they used to sell good featured smart phones at low cost but after gaining popularity they drastically increased their phone prices. Previously redmi note series used to cost in range of 10-13k but now they are launching these phones at 20k range. Soon MI will dissapear from the market because now we have samsung, oneplus, vivo.

This isn't the reason. During Corona there was shortage of silicon supply which led to the hike in price of processors and the snapdragon processors became costly which are fast, reliable and long lasting because the which Xiaomi switched to mediatek to provide cheap smartphone to the customers and make huge profits with compromise in price and quality. People are smart and they understood it and nowadays companies are providing same thing with new names no more innovation and technological enhancement so people are not investing much on phones which led to fall in smartphone sales over the years.

Xiaomi is now basically focusing on global market rather than Indian market. They are innate in doing some unique innovative value addition that results in some unprecedented featuring smartphones. They are shifting their domains to high end feature sets from budget range smartphones. Eventually the company is abstaining from launching such smartphones in Indian budget oriented market

I had also used Mi phones, but due to Unnecessary bloatware and ad's, i Changed to Moto phones , the only Company which have stock Android Models in their portfolio.

Obviously , my personal experience was bad with them, Issue was because of their latest update(13.0) my Redmi note 10 pro Front Camera stopped working This is know issue and they should solve it on NO Cost basis, however they asked for 12k Plus GST for same. No way customer should pay that amount. I did repairment through local vendor costing just 1400/- but still its lost for me.

Yes, it was really embarrassing. Later when lot of users backlashed, finally Xiaomi agreed to replace mother board free of cost. That faulty software firmware but cost it a lot not only for hardware but losing the customer trust. Really I am now afraid of updating phone, earlier I got excited to see the update as soon as possible.
