I remember using Xpra 10 years ago when Wayland wasn't even a thing. It was very cool to run on my Debian desktop and netbook. Trying to give it another chance earlier this year made me almost smack my head against the wall since things didn't work at all and due to my disability, I am having a hard time to memorize all the terminal junk that needs to be done to get it working. Linux needs more GUI based software and stuff on Wayland needs to get improved.

the whole *nix world should implement systematically tools to edit properly configs in only one way possible, not let the user put his dirty hands (and mistypes). Nobody should have to edit a single line just to tweak or setup basic things. Yet people still wonder why Linux never succeed as a desktop environment, this is the only reason why.
@@agiledevartthank you. I was wondering the same thing.

Sunshine works very similarly but requires you to use the client. I do use that one for gaming... My gaming rig is in the basement so it doesn't heat up the living spaces in the summer

Is it possible to set up the entire HTML5 infrastructure behind an Nginx reverse proxy, serving content via HTTP/3 (QUIC)? This should significantly reduce latency.

How is the security? If I use RDP on Windows the physical display shows a lock screen. Iirc if I use VNC I basically mirror the screen and anyone with access to the computer can see what I am doing on the physical display.

Does that boot a desktop environment in Linux to work? I have a 1GB limitation in a remote Linux server and once I boot a GUI the system crashes for lack of resources.

It does not boot a DE. Try Alpine or just stick with X11 forwarding over ssh.

_Please_ opt out of that Auto Dub bullcrap. It sounds aweful and translations really suck. Feels like one of those Chinese scam ads.
