He also knows to follow the general rule of itemizing depending on their momentum, if disadvantaged and underfarmed building more damage would ensure that by the time a class happens they can deal damage and possibly create a turnaround while if on an advantaged and with lots of kills, they build more defensive to ensure the momentum continues tanks more during fights

There is a pub match, Yatoro use Naga where he was against Collapse Undying at top lane. The lane was owned by Collapse. But yet, even when losing Yatoro still manage to outfarm all the enemy teams and ends up winning the game. His farming efficiency is crazy.

@@fynaakurvinen8028 yeah early game the mid and the off are the ones calling the shots since pos 5/4 needs exp/ 1 item to fight and the carry is mostly passive whenever their hero has a big teamfight spell on cd or they have no items yet, pa-deso/bkb, void chrono, naga manta, wtvr it is but in the late game the pos 1 almost always calls the shots bc in the late game it's a 4 protect 1 scenario, doesnt even matter so much if ur mid or off dies, as long as ur pos 1 gets to farm more or stay alive, its all good.

Nice video. Look at how far dota 2 has come. In the past the we regard the most talented player as a player who has best mechanical skill e.g., reaction time, accuracy of skillshots etc, but now we see that pros have a better understanding of how skills and itemizations in matchups work and what adjustments do they need to do in order to make their match competitive. From the gyro diffusal to wraith pact and mage slayer items of tundra and now this from yatoro.

Yatoro is slowly evolve to Ame because of the heroes pool. At TI10, team spirit even admire Ame that he's good with every heroes. You can see that in true sight. They also play similar style, aggressive and kiting for teammates.

Yatoro has an insane map awareness,he also always prepare for anything.like versus lgd game 2,the rp waveform dodge was a game changer.i watched the replay and although mira read the lgd smk,but yatoro looked like he was waiting for lgd to come.he alr prepared so when the mag blinked in,he used his insane reaction to waveform dodge the rp.lgd cant stop morph farming,then they started losing the game

I still think this game was all about Collapse's Magnus being able to reposition TB's counters so that TB will have a much easier time during teamfights. Not to mention that LGD had ZERO saves and and lack of instant disable to prevent the Magnus skewer. If Mag was banned, it would have been a completely different story.

Magnus can only be useful if he has something to work with. In this case, yatoro was constantly giving Collapse so much information that made game easy

Yatoro knows what fight to take and what not and what to build. His team knows how to play around him and collapse always bring the enemy to Yatoro to execute them. They work together like a clockwork.

Yatoro is good, could be the greatest. By the way, the effort for this content is very well done. However, Yatoro is NOTHING without Collapse. If Collapse is in ANY team, the Carry sits like a baby, and can do whatever they want. Do you see how Anathan "Ana" Pham from OG able to dodge everything with his Ember against PSG.LGD as well? And how well Ana to critically thinks on the game? He is able to calculate the amount of buyback within a mere 2 secs, disassembles the Butterfly, sells the talisman of evasion, of course while fighting and being hunt and killed. Buys back, and going on the team fight again. Yatoro indeed is one of the greatest, and I agree with you. But, Ana and Miracle is a God like in Dota, one of the best/greatest/godlike whoever laced in this game.

he bought midas-butterfly because he knew the classic play “farm timings-make useful move” with manta-skadi etc is useless here. With this build you bet on super overfarm and hope on outplay in lategame. Same idea is used in old miracle antimage manta-butterfly build.

i agree with your video but disagree with the title. Miracle was way more ahead than others than yatoro is today. Miracle also had a longer dominance than yatoro currently has. Miracle has slightly more achivements and tournament wins (1st - 2nd place ti and won all of the majors) but considering that yatoro is only 20 years old he could very likely surpass miracle as the most consistently dominant player. But the greatest dota player (non-mechanical gameplay) of all time would probably puppey, this guy has assembled roster from the most random players and still performed very well as a team.

The term "Carry" has shifted on this game loong ago as it used to be always the pos1 or 2. Carry now means game changer impact most valuable and this team that was no other than Collapse, im not even a fan of him but everyone could see that. You notice it in pubs, people no longer fight for pos1 or 2 like in past, cuz it doesnt matter anymore, you can play whatever position and be the most valuable player of the match that was the carry The othrr guy was just the core main farming prioritized player for the main damage dealer position

With all respect to Yatoro, but I think his teammates is the MVP of this game, especially Mira & Miphoska They create so much space for Yatoro to farm, controling the lane, changing tempo, etc If you watch full game, you will understand what I'm sayin. I watched this live and casters explaining what Mira & Miphoska did during Yatoro's farming phase. Fast farming is something that many caryy players can do. Right now the only carry I see that comes close (sometimes) on mechanical skills is 23savage. Like Yatoro, I've seen 23 outplay carries on the top tier teams but the difference is that 23 has the mental fortitude of a potato.
