I think the word usually used for big fish is lunker. And there's no bait to eliminate junk catches, but you could also try adding tackle (an extra good option once 1.6 comes to the switch). I almost missed your bonus short at the end, but didn't!

When I watched The Miracle at Coldstar Ranch, I couldn't stop thinking about how much it reminded me of The Christmas Tree, and I just had to make a little Stardew rendition of it.
