Why YOU Can't Wear These! Travis Scott x Jordan 1 Golf Review & On Foot

Today im taking a look at the brand new Jordan 1 x Travis Scott Golf, these just dropped on October 13th. Like every Travis Scott collaboration sneaker these were extremely hard to get, however the interesting part about these is that many people seem to believe they were in fact backdoored.
There is a lot of theories online about how the release went but one thing is for sure they are reselling for a bunch of money. I also get into all of the details on here considering this is a golf version of the Travis Scott Jordan 1 low theres some differences to what you normally expect.
I go over sizing and material changes along with how they generally feel when wearing them.

Nailed it Elliott. Big golfer here so i have a bunch of 1 low golfs for casual wear. I play golf with spikes so these arnt ideal for golf for me personally.

Got mine in yesterday, they're amazing. I have been a golfer since I was 9 years old through high school competitively. As badass as these shoes are, I sold them so I could buy a pair of reverse mocha lows. Especially if you say the quality is the same as the others, which I can't even fathom being that these are waterproof*... I'm gonna have to test that out myself.

Right after they dropped I thought they were gonna go for like $300-400 because they are a golf shoe but those were going for about $1000 (more then the olives and black phantoms) what I was very surprised at but I mean it's a decent Travis Scott shoe.

I hit on the SNKRS app.. one account and I just entered the draw when I got the notification just like I normally do and this is the first draw that I actually hit. 🙋‍♂️ I paid way less attention to this drop then I normally do and after I entered the draw I put my phone on the charger and didn’t look at it for two hours until I realized I got em. 😂

Amongst the Travis Scott Jordan 1 Lows, the Golf has the best cushioning. Likely due to the better shaped insole. I have 2 other AJ1Low golfs that I regularly use for playing golf, and they are quite comfortable and indeed waterproof.

Golfer here. I hit on snkrs app a month ago. Really love this shoe but there's no way i could ever play golf in them strictly because of the value they hold. I decided to grab a pair of reps to play in. After having them both in hand I can tell you I will never pay resale for another pair of shoes unless the markup is within 15-20%. The reps are so good that i'm having trouble believing that they were actually manufactured in a different factory. And honestly there are less glue marks around the midsole than the real ones...WTF?!

I mean realistically, leather shoes are generally pretty water resistant shoes. But still prefer actual golf shoes to these. Or just even the reverse mochas. Or the olives.

Those Jordan 1 golf shoes after about 2 months of wear the sole becomes really soft and when you walk on a path or concrete path you can feel all the little stones poking through. They look good but I don’t think you will get the proper wear out of them and especially with the premium price they going for. Normally a golf shoe sole feels firm and solid because the golfers really beat up shoes with the way they twist etc.

I hit on a 7.5 on SNKRS. Also, I had never once used SNKRS before. I was on a job & remembered the drop & just haphazardly entered my info with only 2 minutes left to enter. Honestly, I'm a bit older these days & really don't fw Nike. But I have my pair listed on ebay & will use the $ to fund my New Balance collection. Every time I have posted about my W, a ton of kids are like yeah right, No One got these.. well I did, on my phone, minutes after the drop started.

The drop was absolutely back doored and the only reason was to build hype not for customers to get what they want. Nike loves doing this and honestly its getting old. Of all the Travis lows I have all of them but this one..I don't even want the golf one i think its not nearly as good as the OG pairs

I don’t understand what’s the deal here with Nike. I get that this shoe brings attention to the brand if it’s limited on the other hand doesn’t Nike like money and customers? Why don’t they make sure that at least a portion of the copies goes in to the hands of regular customers? Why after 5 years of Travis’s releases they don’t make 100k copies per release so resell won’t be 1k €? It seems like the Travis collaboration exists solely for rellers to make money: Travis doesn’t care, Nike doesn’t care, VIP don’t care. And to me as a fan of the artist, as a person that would like to have a pair to be more immersed in the brand that Travis represents it’s very frustrating.
