I had an encounter with the Lord in July and he told me he was angry with me. Said my soul was wicked and after 4 days of talking with him with little sleep He started to fill me with love and grace. Cause I started listening to what he was saying instead of defending myself. God is good. I will say I was terrified when I had this encounter because it had been 4 years since I was in his presence and I had fallen into sin.

Early April 2024 I had a different experience I felt the presence of God and the conviction of my sins & how I was brought up I wasn’t a good person as I thought I was & I felt so shameful and guilty and still do after backsliding, but I do love God and have to show him I mean it.

The Holy Spirit has visited me profoundly at least 3 times in my life . Profound experiences that included a Love, Ecstasy and Power that is indescribable. Many other times I have felt His Influence, Discernment and Healing Energy imparted to me for others and for me when I've been seriously ill, should have died. I have had long " dry spells" before as well, I'm not a Saint or any kind of evangelical fanatic..I've just been very blessed by God and Christ for reasons beyond my comprehension. I sit quietly in my solitude holding tight to these words coming through my phone. Some days are hard trying to self learn, still so many battles to overcome and then I see so many struggling, suffering, reaching towards Heaven wishing, praying for a miracle, just one to happen. Rather, I would want to say that the LORD is training us. The LORD knows the ending before the beginning. He knows the finish before the start. The aspect of trial isn't so much a confirmation for the LORD but a season of training that could involve: “a fall”, “conviction”, “repentance”, “reconciliation” & “a moral from the proceeding events” kind of like the Lord out of His infinite love training us and correcting us. Hello everyone, I just wanted to ask something. I am going to talk to God about this but I just want to see what other people think. I have been taking my faith more seriously for around 6-7 months. I believed Jesus was God but never lived by it. I have seen a development in my character as I now have my day filled with plans with God. I pray to him 3 times a day, I am silent with him 2 times a day and I study his word once a day. I try to live right with God, trying to not sin, repent and move on. Furthermore I am trying to reflect christs character and draw people closer to Jesus, and I thank the Holy Spirit for helping me with these motives. But I just dont know what to do. It is like I dont feel physical conviction, its like I dont feel his presense. In fact, I dont know if I every have felt conviction. His presence I know I havent but conviction, I dont know. I know that I have the Holy Spirit as I want to reflect Christ and bring people closer to him, but there have been times where I feel like God doesnt want me. I have told God multiple times that I am not going to give up over lack of feelings but I don't know. Part of me is thinking about whether or not I have done something wrong while the other is trying to keep me afloat. Something I forgot to mention is that I do sometimes feel miserable and I dont know why. I understand I sin and ask God for forgiveness. In fact I have set boundaries in the past to help assist the Holy Spirit. But I dont know if I should have felt an encournter yet or not. I get God has timing and that is something which I think has been helping keep me afloat for a while.

My experience is that the holy spirit removed certain urges to sin by itself, without my help. If you confess that you are completely unable to change yourself, the lord will do it and claim the glory for himself, to whom it belongs. He died for you and wants to do it for you, without your help! Also, don't rely on feelings, because they're unstable. But if you believe he can and will do it, you will feel a great peace and joy. You talk about feeling not wanted, and that's not true and you know it. The Lord loved you before you were born. Don't try to help the holy spirit, just let go! ♥

Test me Lord. I have a few chains of bondage such as being addicted to smoking a vape. I've been praying about everything I want to break free of. I'm surrounded by family members who struggle with various addictions. My daughter hasn't spoken to me since a few days after her suicide attempt at the end of July. After she texted my oldest grandson (age 12), saying goodbye to him and his almost 3 year old brother. She blames me for her attempt and the loss of custody of both of my grandsons. In the process I've lost the love of my life due to his apathy to what I was going thru, living 7 hours away in another state. I was actually seeing much more of my son and daughter and grandsons living with my ex in another state. However, I've been given the peace that surpasses all understanding. And I crave more of a Christ Jesus mindset. I am reading the Bible from cover to cover for the second time ever, and this year. If not for Jesus, I'd be dead again but for eternity in absolute hell. I'd appreciate anyone's prayers and pray God blesses you 7x over in return 🙏 ❤Amen
