Why You Don't Need the Fastest Rubber to Be a Good Player
It’s tempting to get caught up in the hype surrounding the latest high-tech table tennis rubbers and blades. With all the marketing buzz around advanced Tensor technology and popular products like the Butterfly Tenergy series, Dignics series, Super ALC, Super ZLC, it's easy to believe that having the fastest equipment is the key to becoming a better player. However, for most amateur and intermediate players, especially those who are still developing their skills, super-fast equipment can actually be a hindrance rather than a help.

Right. 47.5 is the absolut maximum on the BH for beginner. You can add about 2 ESN Hardness for the VH. I've tryied Dragon GRIP XH in the beginning and I can honestly say that it's unplayable for me even after 2y of training. Now I can play a Dig 09c tough but I don't want to.

You dont even need to blow the budget. Ali express has heaps of blades that are cheap and play just fine for beginners and intermediate players. If youre starting out, try the Yinhe n10s paired with friendship 729 cross rubbers. Whole setup is around 50 AUD

Korbel is good blade for beginners/intermediates. However, timo boll spirit still too fast for beginners and many intermediates.

Primorac Off-, Tibhar Samsonov Alpha or Waldner Senso Carbon are also great blades to start with and still good for intermediate players.

@@rumyancevkv It's better to choose a harder rubber for forehand, at least medium hard. For the backhand, go a little bit softer like 2 to 3 degree. Are you a beginner?

I play amateur for 3 y but without training. I have yasaka extra offensive and hurricane 40 and battle 2 gold 41. I like battle 2 more maybe also because hardness. Forehand and backhand also. Is it ok? What you recommend for backhand(I’m still looking for a alternatives)

timo boll spirit is a fast blade NOT a beginner blade.... DHS hurricane 3 neo is tacky and stiga DNA Platinum DNA is fast and are totally opposites... For beginner would advise PALIO AK47 red instead . With a price 13 $ you cannot go wrong imo and go further from that with more tacky or speedy rubbers

@@twenty4seven368 Yes, that's exactly how someone who is dependent on his equipment would react because he knows that it's his racket that gives him the advantage over his opponent and not his skills. Haven't you seen any kung fu movies where a true master can just pick up any stick off of the ground and beat another master with his own sword? Now, that's what you'd call skills.

@@cuongtkong58 tell me you know nothing about table tennis without saying i know nothing about table tennis. even the best player in the world couldnt beat another top 500 player with a begginers bat. equipments isnt everything but it is godamn helpfull at that level and such a minor change doesnt only change your phyiscal but also you mental by making you frustrated. also its not that his racket gives him an advantage over but it is that it gives him an equal level because all top pros dont have restrictions from equipment.
