Yes. Unless one allows God access at a later point. Many people's calling are revealed but stepped into it too soon. They had no root. You will fall! God will NEVER move you into an area of responsibility without preparing you! Too often, people move on their own with partial revelation.

@hunkpapii Not at all. It's not about age. It's about being ready. Some people need more pruning than others. God deals with each person individually. It's about total submission to God! He needs ALL of you.! You must be totally sold out to God in order for Him to use you at your full potential. It's not about age it's about spiritual maturity. Some reach it as a child, while some don't reach it until their 50 or older. A person's character can be a factor as well. For example, a stubborn and/ or prideful person IS NOT usable by God. Those things need to be pruned from the bush. It will be a hindrance and an inroad that Satan will use to his advantage. By no means am I saying one must be perfect either! With all that said, It's about going when God says you're ready..

You're so welcome.God will tell you when. We have a responsibility to make sure it's God though! Every opportunity that seems good isn't from God. Also, Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. How vulnerable you are to deception depends on how grounded you are in the Word and your relationship with the Godhead, more particularly the Holy Spirit because He's who guides us. It helps tremendously if you've been baptized with Holy Spirit @hunkpapii
