Did you ever buy something over $5000 if you weren't clear on the outcome?
This is why you are struggling to close deals...
99% of sales people struggle with this one thing.
They hop from question to question hoping through their so called script will close the prospect by making sure they ask all the questions.
They then get hit with 100's of let me think about it objections. Wondering if its them their objection handling or even the prospect being unqualified.
Well I hate to break it to you. It is you.
You are not getting clear enough with the prospect on what they want and their problem. Then finally the cost of inaction.
Take prospect 1,
yehh I want to make some more money
I just don't wanna do a 9-5 anymore
Well I probably won't be able to get there in this time
Prospect 2
I want to make $10,000 per month because that will allow me to leave my job and spend more time with my kids.
I am not able to spend time with my kids and they are growing up without their father around to help them and teach them things.
I won't get there on my own because I have been this way, trying to make 10k/month for the last year now and I am not much nearer my goal.
You see the difference.
You aren't here to be liked you are here to be respected.
Get clear with your prospect.
Because if you don't think they are being clear how are they ever meant to make a clear decision themselves?
