@theesam303 Not the last comment. @tabletopsandbox Great video! had to comment and say this is great advice! Long time DM now playing and I made myself an "NPC relationship tracking" sheet where I have a section for notes dedicated to each named NPC as well as a quick "mood scale" at the top, literally just a row of boxes determining how good (to the right) or bad (to the left) my relationship with that NPC last was. I tend to surprise my fellow players with consistency of character. My favorite that I remember is that my character doesn't get along with the single tavern owner in one town and it always seems to make the other players laugh when we return and I throw our money at the them and we never eat there. The first few times I did it the other players were confused until they remembered and then laugh, the DM loves it too and has had to make multiple restaurants in that town that have become a source for questing all because I got in an argument with the bartender the first time we arrived and now it's a staple.
