20 years young. Saving every penny possible and was faced with the opportunity of buying a house or buying a 2007 R8 manual (my dream car). It was such a tough decision to make but I had to do the right thing … so here I am now in this house that my parents own with my R8 sat on the drive. Not a single regret!

I'm 40 years old and my realistic Dream Cars are GR Corolla Circuit Edition/Morizo Edition. I would also like to throw in the FK8 or FL5 Type R and ZL1 1le 6 sp. Right now I saved up a bit.

💯 Percent!!! In the beginning where you mentioned, while saving is beneficial long term. I managed to save a VERY large sum of money and kept telling myself, in time I'll be happy" or I'll get it when it's time. And it bothered me so much that I had to wait to be happy. I soon realized (like you) that tomorrow is not promised to anyone. And waiting until I'm twice my age isn't my idea of living. And so I bought the 24 NX 350 F Sport and I couldn't be happier. Thanks so much for bringing this up. Ppl don't understand how crucial this is. Life is the gift. So open it and celebrate it EVERYDAY!!! Great video!!! 👏👏

We have that mindset, it’s just other financial BS usually gets in the way. Example; I’m paying more in child support than his R8 payment. I had to settle for an ST, but wanted an RS. Such is life.

I do balance my wants with my budget and family responsibilities. My financial situation is way too complicated to explain to do any sort of justice. But I manage things by working to my maximum potential (a full-time, a part-time, and a gig, and maybe pushing a side hustle if things go well, with plenty of double shifts sprinkled throughout). My dream car, any Dodge Vipers between 2002-2010...very unattainable for me. But I do almost have a dream camera setup (the side hustle I'm trying to push) for wildlife and birding. The things I gave up to get to this point while still being a responsible father, this was my splurge that I am still working on. I have a modest Canon R7 with a Sigma 150-600mm Contemporary, along with a recently purchased Canon EF 70-200 f2.8L version 1 used.

I totally agree with you brother, and god man that Audi R8 is freaking gorgeous ❤ Always been my dream car. Life is short and we need to really enjoy it while we can, especially with the world of cars changing to Electric and the possibility of Gasoline disappearing into history, this is definitely the time to go for those dream cars or even whatever else you want. Great advice, man! 👍❤️

I agree. Are youth is fleeting day by day. Can't wait to get a s2000. And i know i will finally get it cause my business that i recently started has taken off nicely. Yes s2k ain't nothing crazy but to me its like an exotic car.

Honestly, the S2000 one of the best cars I’ve ever driven. It’s something I want back in my garage personally. Very few cars gave me the thrill that that car did. I hope you get it, keep me posted 🤙😎

I absolutely agree with your Mindset of yours. I also have a Black R8 Original and it wasn't even a question if when I saw it and the impression it makes for my boys are unbelievable. So many adults and Children keeps taking photos of it and ask what's age it is and love the sounds of it (REV9) eksos . And the best statement of yours? What if I die tomorrow? ,,Well,,I live to die another day is my answer to you and the rest.

This video is a blessing, in the same situation. I’m 32 now and I recently spoke to a mate who said don’t do it, it’s not a smart investment. Life’s to short, we could be gone tomorrow…some people hold you back purely on jealousy sometimes. Great video my man 👌🏾

It's expensive enough owning a basic daily driver. Way better price/performance to get a used Japanese sport bike for thrills.

I agree for maximum value to thrill. I have to say a Japanese sports bike probably is the best thing that you can get. if a sports bike is an option for you definitely consider it I miss my Ducati 899 Panigale dearly.

*Your 100% right Sonduran, I'm 40 still working so many hours ,saving/investing every sh*tty CAD$ of disposable income ,I have been waiting to buy my dream car for the last 15 years, but the problem is i need to buy a House with a garage first which is very hard in Toronto* 💡 *JOKE---> you can sleep in your car, but you can't drive your house* 😅🤣😂
