It’s hit or miss if you pop into my feed. Today you were there Yay! I’ve been missing so many of my fave ppl because of how YT is doing things. I now check my subscriptions to see who’s got new content. Also YT putting old 7 - 10 yr old vids from fav ppl instead of new ones. Ugh so frustrating !! Tks for info on wkend event and newsletter.

Thank you! I do get your newsletter. I find that watching all the various creators I want to watch is getting overwhelming and one every 2 weeks is great in my book. I cook, bake, make cards, create in cold porcelain, air-crete, resin, paper clay, etc. and I cannot watch every single video of every creator as I would like...sometimes "less really is more"! Thank you and enjoy your little one! I'm planning on being there tomorrow for the live, won't be there on Saturday (my day of worship) may be there on Sunday, but family is planning an outing so we'll see, but I hope to learn a lot. The bingo sounds fun, can't afford to join but anyway, I thank you. (I'm in my wedding dress on Zoom, maybe you saw me, but with over 400 there, maybe not, lol.) Blessings to you!

I for one for social media overload was my challenge. I was getting e mails everyday. Now that I know how to turn off the you tube e mails I can resubscribe. I originally unsubscribed about 2 yrs ago a bulk, I had so many subscriptions . Learning tech while consuming is taxing . I even deleted Tictok because I don’t have the time with my daughter’s care needs and nurses are reg no shows. So much inspiration on all different platforms. Im so happy you’re not going anywhere. Great content, always grateful to receive inspiration.

Glad you mentioned right clicking to open in a new tab! I do this all the time anyway b/c youtube resets my home items everytime I would left click, so to avoid it constantly resetting, I simply right click to open in new tab. Problem solved. Love your videos, and seeing the baby! Thanks for what you do to inspire us all - there's so much creative talent out there in the world!

I have to use the CC as well. Mine is working. Try checking to make sure you are set up to received the CC. When you do get the CC you can use the + or - button on your computer to make the font bigger or smaller. Plus you can move your CC around.. Like maybe you want it at the top of the video.

Hi...After watching this video, I went to the event page and signed up. It seems, if I'm reading correctly, that this is mainly a Facebook event. Is that correct? If so, is there a way to unsubscribe to the event? And can a Q/A be added to the FAQ explaining the platforms involved? Other than that, it sounds like a great event! Sorry I'll miss it - hope it goes great!

Am already subscribed to your newsletter so hopefully I'll get to see your upcoming videos.🤞 The only videos I don't really watch are those creators who are linked to companies and continually try to persuade watchers to buy their new wares. I have sooooo many supplies and love watching you and Laurel 'using what you have'. I'm a patreon of one creator who used to produce fabulous videos, however now just shows what a company has released and how great they are. Huge turn off for me, and this month is the last I'll support their channel. I get that people need to earn a living but not by continually hawking their wares to a group of watchers who may also be having a hard time financially. Every other week is often enough. Most people follow a lot of things on KZbin, with different schedules. I did purchase some of your stamps and dies, etc. after watching videos and downloading pdfs.

Like it's not hard enough to keep putting out great content on KZbin - there's so much other behind the scenes algorithm and other issues for content creators to deal with. Even with blurring your baby's face, we can tell how CUTE he is! 💙💙💙

Ooooo boy! I have missed a lot of videos recently because I didn’t know Justine had her baby. Congratulations 🍾🎊🎉 I actually subscribe to so many people that I’m not surprised that some creators videos do not show up in my feed. And I’ve been trying not to watch videos of techniques I already know how to do, which honestly sometimes feels like all of them. I’ve been paper crafting since the late 80s so it’s not weird that very little is new to me. On the other hand, I like supporting KZbinrs that I just like. And then I do sometimes watch videos about paper crafting that I already know how to do. It’s a dilemma.

You are always up front & one of the most very honest Crafty Creators & Motivators. I will try to watch the live as that seems just ideal for me. If on a tablet or phone, there’s no right-click since there’s no mouse. But you can do the equivalent. When you tap on “more” and want to use a link Justine or anyone else provides, do a long press on the link, not a tap. That will copy the link in hour [invisible] clipboard, and when you’re done watching the youtube video, open a new tab/page just like you always do to go to any website, 😢tap in the browser window and select paste (or paste and go). This may vary between apple and android or other operating systems, but that’s often how it works. And maybe someone can explain this more clearly than I just did on my four hours of sleep!

This is my question - first, I appreciate the explanation hie videos land on home feed… that said, I ONLY watch KZbin using a cellphone . You tube doesn’t like if you click away but on a phone, I don’t have the ability to right click to open a video or I don’t know how. Is this even possible? maybe there’s a video out there on navigating you tube using a cell phone.

Thanks for the explanation - have come to the conclusion that AI is not my friend I both like the individual videos & subscribe to your channel. Have found over the past few months that your videos and those of other card makers I really like (Christine Stokes, Ardyth Percy-Robb, Natasha Foote, Lou Collins, Sam Calcott etc - reverse alpha order) no longer automatically pop up in my feed - very annoying My low tech solution - am now using a paper list and checking once a week or so, by channel name, for new content. Very annoying

Another tip is what I do: check my subscriber listing everyday. All the new videos come up in a list. Along the left hand side, anyone with a new video has a blue dot.

I am getting frustrated as a viewer more than a content creator... I have had to start going down my subscription list to make sure I am seeing all of the people I want to see. I have also noticed I am unsubscribed from a lot of different channels across many subjects.

It sounds to me like AI is becoming dumber, not smarter by limiting what "it" thinks we want to see. People don't like limits!! Thank you for the info. Baby sounds are so sweet.
