See here’s my thing when it comes to nice guys. Yes we need more nice guys. We need more guys that are courteous to women. But what I’m tired of seeing are all these “nice guys“Declaring that they are nice guys. If you’re a nice guy you don’t need to walk around telling everybody you’re a nice guy. The people who walk around saying that they’re nice guys are actually the ones pretending to be nice. People can see when you were a nice person but when you keep telling everybody that you’re a nice person it starts to downplay what you’re saying like you’re playing a role

That's my thing. There is a different between a good guy and nice guy. A good guy is someone who treats women like queens, are confident and not desperate. Agatha jay If a woman feels she has to dress talk or act a certain way that has nothing to do with the man that has everything to do with her self. If you love yourself and except yourself than that exudes from your body and the right man will come to you. When you walk around better or angry then you drive people away. But my comment can be said in reverse because just like men walk around talking about how they’re nice guys and you don’t need to do that if you are actually a nice guy women do the same thing they walk around talking about how they’re sweet and kind and loving to all these men and they get fucked over but every time they keep telling everybody the kind of person they are it makes it not as strong of a case. And as a person if you’re developing resentment towards a whole group of people because of how a couple people have interacted with you You’re at a stage in your life you shouldn’t even be in a relationship because you need to work on yourself first because if you’re having those feelings of resentment towards a group of people you’re not in a good spot for a relationship.

This is why I'm happy to say I didn't fall down the bad boy path that many women in my family and in every neighborhood I've lived in tend to fall into. I was never interested in them. Most people who grow up in generational trauma end up heading right down the same road or worse; a few end up running the opposite direction but it's much less common. I was determined to not put myself through the same soul-crushing stress, anger, resentment, degradation, and pain I saw/see everywhere. I am not about the struggle love life at all; seeing my brother's father emotionally do my mom dirty while she was battling cancer only solidified my desire to stay away from shitty people. My boyfriend Joshua of 4 years is the best man to ever come into my life. He is considerate, sweet, caring, loving, affectionate, funny, brilliant, talented, unique, mesmerizing, and solid while soft-hearted. He supports my personal growth and cares about what's in my best interest. We lift one another up while keeping one another grounded. I feel the most me by myself and when I'm with him; it's a wonderful feeling to be loved by someone's entire beautiful heart. I feel whole with AND without him; my self identity and independence intact. Despite all of my childhood trauma, I feel safe in his arms. I don't have to wait to exhale. He's my #1 best friend in the greatest ways and I wouldn't choose any differently. If you're attracted to bad boys, you might have some deep-seeded issues you need to address. Out here picking narcissists and aggressors, being neglected by immature fools, getting used by deadbeats, caring more about someone than they care about you; at some point you have to wise up and find some common sense. You need to care about yourself enough to stop helping others hurt you. There's no good reason to be that attracted to a shitty person. Gain some insight and change your choices. It's hard for me to have sympathy for people who cause themselves ridiculous unnecessary problems and don't even try to change them. Everywhere you look it's directly and indirectly made clear in many ways that bad boys and bad girls are a waste of time yet so many people are STILL choosing to touch the flame to confirm that it's hot. This conversation is so tired; we shouldn't have to keep reiterating this important message, which saddens and disappoints me.

Do not listen to what women say they want. The last thing men should do is “be nice, and be yourself”. Women do not want “nice guys”. They want confident men who have higher status than them. If a man doesn’t treat a woman well, she assumes that she must be beneath him in some way, which makes her more attracted to him. If a man is nice, treats a woman like a princess and does all sorts of favors for her, he signals that he in beneath her, which lowers her attraction to him.

Women over 30 don’t realise that nice guys around the same age usually aren’t as nice as they appear. In my experience having been completely overlooked during the woman’s best years (teens and early twenties) the “good guys” hold on to some form of resentment and will usually be unfaithful given the chance and trust me the good guys in their 30s get plenty of chances. A good guy in his 30s is as sort after as an attractive girl in her early twenties or late teens, everybody wants them. Ladies if you genuinely want a good faithful man choose one whilst you still have your best years to offer him. If you were playing around with loads of different guys during your best years don’t be surprised if men want to play around with different girls during their best years.

And I want saw a video from some celebrity news of logger who cited an article from psychology today magazine which talked about how people are attracted to people whom they consider to be familiar. If one is attracted to bad boys are bad girls or whoever. It’s because that behavior is something that they considered to be safe, not because it is behavior that they consider to be good, but because the behavior is familiar to them. Humans are attracted to familiarity. If you go up in a household where there is people who are abusive. But there is one parent abusing the other parent. Or a sibling abusing you. Or however it may manifest, you’re likely to be attracted to people who display those character traits, not necessarily because you’re being those character traits are good, but because those character traits are familiar to you, as though your subconscious mind considers them to be safe. That is at least one reason why someone might be attracted to Bad boys.

I love these ladies! I be answering questions and talking to the tv like I’m there. It’s crazy. Lol. I don’t understand the saying about nice girls liking bad boys. Who came up with that? Also, I definitely did not like bad guys back when I had bfs. I wanted someone nice and considerate, but the thing is, we think when someone is too nice, they can be soft. There are some nice guys who can be manly. I also like the fact that Loni has a nice/great guy. He seems like he really likes her and she likes him. I can’t wait until he comes on the show Loni! We’re due for him to come on this yr. 😊

I never found nice for anyone to try to define what should be the right personality of a woman and obviously I don't think is ok to do the same with any man. We (ladies and gentlemans) are unique in our own way and what is meant to be will alwYs find it's way.

@@bestforyouall , you are only saying some PC bullshit!. Just be honest, women are confused. Both sexes are not equal in anyway. There is a reason why the Masculine represent order and the feminine represent chaos, symbolically.
@bestforyouall5 жыл бұрын
Leslie Watson i think you are probably confused, please don’t generalize. It’s so awkward, you make me feel really sorry for you and the way you think... like we are in 2019 but your way of thinking is 1930. I can’t relate to what you are saying. I came from a family of progressive thinkers, very successful in life, in all sense of the word, I am too, and definitely can’t relate to what you say. Our success is due to the fact that we saw each others as equals and while some outsiders were playing roles, brain washed by society’s rules, we were all making plans to succeed in life, helping each other grow, and we did. Good luck finding success in life with that way of thinking.

@@bestforyouall , you sound like the girl thats always attracted to the bad guys, gets cheated on, abused and still can't understand why it keep happening. So lost and clueless Then after you hit the wall then you go for the good guy to get married to him. Then cheat on him with with the same bad boy.
@nqatha22295 жыл бұрын
I agree with Tamera. There's no need of going for a bad guy so as to fulfill your need to nurture. You end up wasting it on him and the kids get the tail end of all you had to give in nurturing.

True and unfortunate it goes back to the first live and relationship thatvus a s little girls had with our fathers, how did they treat our moms? How did they treat us? It is sad but thats where it starts. We cam mature and grow to learn that that is not what we need but often times by then years have passed, we have kids, and now there are many more obstacles other than just worrying about our selves

Kind: is being considerate. Nice: is avoiding being real to not hurt other’s feelings. ex of kind: thinking before you say something about how it might come off, genuinely caring how you make someone feel. ex of nice: avoiding arguments to keep SO happy even when you have an opinion that should be expressed or letting people walk over you so they are satisfied

I can guarantee 90% of the women in the comments saying they like nice guys are liers lmao. I have always considered myself to be a nice guy, am 31 years old, college educated, and always keep up my appearance. Here in LA when girls see me they look the other way, especially black women who I have always been attracted to. I have a friend that loves to drink, smoke, party, and even admitted to me he uses women for sex. Needless to say, every woman I work with and have even met recently at my job are attracted to him. Maybe it's his tattoos or the fact that he smokes..? Black women are so insecure, and half of them don't know what they want. They for sure don't want nice guys.

How does parenting style influence how a man deals with conflict? How do they learn how to communicate effectively? How did their family members deal with conflict? Does that make them more passive? If so, what are some things that they are doing to correct those behaviors? Does it influence their confidence in their ability to provide financially? How do they feel about you being financially stable with or without them? How did their childhood experiences influence how they approach romantic relationships and friendships? How do that effect how they approach intimacy with their significant other or spouse?

I agree with jeannie. There is a different between a good guy and nice guy. A good guy is someone who treats women like queens, are confident and not desperate. Nice guys are the ones who are usually the friends, and get mad when you dont like them back because they are nice to you. They always showing their boyfriend resumé to every female. And crying on social media how they are nice and dont get picked.

Adrienne's contour and blush look wonderful here, I don't like to be negative but she's had more than a few very harsh contour moments that haven't done her any justice. I get that the fullness in her face is a soft spot for her so she wants to make sure she looks chiseled but sometimes I actually feel it gives off the opposite effect. Nevertheless, she's gorgeous and that blazer is everything honey

I've dated a too nice guy and he was "nice" but not good. They can be nice but... very petty as well. have to be careful with all this niceness, people want to be seen as nice and not as themselves and yet every lil nice thing they do for you they expect something more in return. have to know the difference between a nice person and a good person... "Good people aren't always nice" Nice people are'nt always good.

Being too nice is definitely not a turn off. However, being corny is. There's a difference 😐 awkward, no game, too needy 🤢 NO!
