That last fight could've been completely swung around with an air unit investment, but I get the feeling they had tunnel vision by overcommitting to their unit composition.

ICStars on the second match did not have one single unit that could attack air.. fry easily could've won by just investing in overlords with artillery imo

I love rhinos! They're a delightfully comedy but sometimes very effective unit. Their major issue they have is there are a lot of units which can counter them. They need their various tech upgrades in order to make them great. Without whirlwind crawlers will delay them and anything which causes electromag slows them down except for when they have power armour - a slow rhino is a dead rhino.

Rushing the ATK & DEF upgrades offsets the disadvantages you get from running Cost Control. It matters more early than late cause eventually opponent gonna get it too..

This is true, BUT as cost control it actually doesnt make arclights not oneshot mustangs. For other starting Specialists it does. For cost control its 3 HP off, so the HP isnt as impactful.
